Nick did an outstanding job in every way. On time, very well organized, workers ready to go and knew what to do, very efficient, and finished one day earlier than proposed. The crew showed up Monday morning with work boxes containing everything they needed. Nick was there to be sure the scope was fully understood and to finalize paint colors. The workers began protecting everything with plastic and masking followed by spakling and sanding. In the meantime Nick bought the paint and returned around noon. There were six people on site and everyone knew what they were to do. In one room we needed new wood floor molding and Nick brought in a carpenter who did that work. They were neat in their work and cleaned up perfectly. They got a good size house done in two days which limited the disruption to our lives. Really good job!

Teresa at the office was great and very helpful. Nick came and gave the best estimate of 5 others. He was very professional and made great suggestions and came on time. He came a second time to deliver papers cuz my PC was down so Teresa gave them to him to bring. He helped us choose the color and where to put the various shades. He explained the whole prep process. On day one the crew arrived promptly at 7Am and were quiet as mice till 930 for power work. They did not play loud music nor were they loud, they were polite and professional. They were neat with their equipment, and moved my patio furniture and put it back when done. It was painless and over in the promised 3 days. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends.

Nick (the company's owner) and Theresa (his assistant) were extremely helpful and communicative during all phases of our project. Since our house exterior hadn't been attended to in decades, lots of detailed prep work was required to get our place paint-ready. Thanks to Luis (the foreman) and his team, we've gotten countless compliments from friends and neighbors on the total transformation Lighthouse Painting Contractors performed on our property. We found everyone involved to be courteous, caring, enthusiastic and professional at all times, and we would be delighted to work with them again.

I would highly reccomend this company and will definitely use them again. I have already reccomend them to my neighbors and friends. Nick couldn't be more professional, helpful in explaining the processes and accurate in the description of the work to be completed. The estimate was extremely clear and costs broken down, there was no question as to what was to be done. Nick did not hesitate to offer the discount and the total was less than the other three bids it received. The professionalism flowed through all of his employees. They were punctual each day, arriving on the property at 7:30 am and other than there lunch, worked throughout the whole day. I never saw anyone just standing around. They were a very hardworking crew. Because of the different colors used on the stucco, extensive trim and wrought iron, they were constanly wrapping and masking sections as to not overlap the colors. At the end of each day they would clean up all areas and remove the trash. The other bids I received said it would take 5 to 6 workers up to 4 1/2 weeks to complete the job. This job was completed in 8 working days (they even worked Saturdays), which was great for me. When they left, there was not a drop of paint where it shouldn't be. My house looks beautiful and I am extremely satisfied with the job. A special thank you to Theresa for making the process simple and pleasant.

Over the course of 4 years, that we have owned this house, they have painted the entire house. We did it in phases. They are very professional, and they did an excellent job of masking, draping, and prep work. By far the best painters I have ever worked with. The owner comes in to do bids, and he sees details that we didn't notice. He has done patching, repairing, and he has moved fixtures, and he had done a fantastic job and picked up detail. The other contractors that we have had have commented on the great painting job that he had done.

Our house looks like new! We couldn't be happier with Lighthouse Painting and the work that was done. Nick Dattilo and his team were terrific! All of them were very professional, punctual, conscientious, hard working and patient. I had a hard time deciding on a color and they were very patient while I made up my mind. :) They also went above and beyond with detailed touches (removed rotted wood and filled cracks & holes) and made our house look amazing. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again I will tell all my friends who need painting work done about Lighthouse Painting. They do great work!

Amazing. Lighthouse couldn't have been more efficient and professional. Our home was in dire need of a new paint job. Starting with Theresa in the office and Nick on site along with their incredible crew (Manuel and all of the other guys) Lighthouse surpassed any expectations we had. Our home required a lot of patching, and prepping and they took care of it all. Nick was professional and extremely patient with us (even when we couldn't decide on a color:)) They completed our job in less than four days where as other painters had required at least a week and a half to do the job! Their employees were on time, thorough and neat. (they actually left our backyard cleaner than before they started!) We can not say enough about the company!!! We would most definitely use them again and absolutely refer them to anyone in need of a professional paint job. Thank you Lighthouse!!

I liked that Nick helped with the selection of colors, and that I could test out some paint colors in advance. I would have liked the details to have been correct in the first estimate. We had to revise the estimate twice. I also don't think I should have to ask the paint chips to be vacuumed up from the dirt and grass. That should be part of the clean-up. Nick however was very good to have his crew return to take care of the clean-up and he also had them come back twice to do touch-ups on the paint to my satisfaction.

The people at Lighthouse were professional right from the start. The estimator was prompt, and efficient, explaining all the work they would do, and taking the time to answer all my questions and addressing all my concerns. He explained in detail all of the extensive prep work we required, which I knew was gonna be bad, and he explained to me the different types of materials and paints required to do the job right. He actually confessed that they would not be the lowest estimate that we would get, but we would get the best quality work. I appreciated that honesty, and I agree once the work was done that he was correct. The office staff was very patient in working with me as I had many questions, and we had to change our estimate just before accepting it. The crew arrived every day on time, and worked very conscientiously, laying all the protective covers and precautions necessary. My neighbor later told me that he was pleased to see they covered the RV in his driveway to prevent overspray damages. They never became a nuisance, and were very courteous and professional. They spent most of the time stripping and preparing the surfaces, and it looks to me like they got every every detail covered, and addressed every flaw at least as well as I would have done if I had the time and energy (and expertise) to do it myself. They cleaned up appropriately at the end of each day, and in between each process. The primer was applied generously, as was needed, and the paint went on very evenly. The entire process went like clockwork, just a promised, and the only hang-ups were caused by me. At the end, the day after it was complete, the foreman came back to clean out our planters of any left over paint chips or debris, just as he promised. I originally was given their name through a neighbor of a friend, who let me walk their job. It was immaculately done as well, and that couple was happy to refer the name, then I checked Angie's List for references too. I would be happy to let anyone check out our job here as well. (By the way, they never did ask to come inside to use our facilities, or our microwave, as stated in one review on this site, although I would have gladly let them use the bathroom if they had asked). (They actually brought their own microwave and asked politely if they could plug in to run it in the driveway for lunch! I had to laugh, it seems they saw that review too! )

Very prompt estimate and professional.

The experience was very professional. However I received a lower estimate for the work from someone referred by a personal contact. Lighthouse called to follow up with me after I had contracted with the other painter and the office manager (Nick's mother) suggested I could have called back and Nick would have worked with me. I woluld consider him for the future.

Everything went perfectly. Color suggestions and decisions were excellent, workers were extremely punctual and friendly, work was done beautifully and care was taken to make sure every detail was attended to., We love Lighthouse Painting and will always use them for any future projects.

Very well, the workers were hard working thoughtful, and professional. Nick was especially helpful in offering suggestions that we are glad that we took. The office staff were very efficient, friendly, and a joy to speak with. I have had compliments from my neighbors on the nice look of the house. Cars even slow down to take a look. The only negative that I could come up with is, as the home owner who did most of the upkeep for 35 yrs., I saw some cleanup that could have been done, nothing so big that I can't handle it myself. I told Nick on the final inspection not to bother since could take care of it.

We didn't end up using them. I wouldn't have a problem using them in the future, and I am sure if we did, it would have been good work.

Nick and his crew were very professional and polite. The work on the house was completed in the time frame that was quoted. Also, they were extra careful to cover up and protect my solar panels while painting as well. My house looks great, thank you Nick.

Great! Very timely and great communication. We have decided on Lighthouse, and will contact them soon. We were waiting for three estimates. Lighthouse was in the lower middle of the 3 price ranges, but seemed to be very knowledgeable, professional, and with good, reasonable suggestions. I hope that his workers are as good as the owner.

They have great communication, detail-oriented, were very clean, the owner, Nick, is great to work with and really helped and offered a lot of suggestions. They were very flexible and very considerate in working around children. I'm going to use them again.

Nick's crew meticulously covered and protected all my new concrete work. They patched and caulked all cracks and holes in the stucco and trim, sanded and primered all. The house was pressure washed. Two coats of paint were applied to both stucco and trim. The wrought iron fences were sanded and painted with four coats of paint. The front door looks brand new. I had used Nick and Lighthouse Painting two years ago for the interior of my house. I expected excellence on this project and they did not disappoint. Communication with Nick and with Theresa in his office was easy and responsive. I would recommend Lighthouse Painting to anyone any day of the week.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used Lighthouse painting. They have painted the whole exterior of our house and now the whole interior of the house. We are so impressed with Nick and his crew that we know we are getting a fair price for excellent work. Nick has a great eye for detail and notices items that need touching up or repair that I hadn't noticed. Nick and his crews always show up at the apointed time. On the most current job our designer had given us the color spec for the master bedroom. When Nick arrived with the paint he knew immediately that it didn't match the sample on the wall and it was the wrong color. We quickly confirmed with the designer that she had given us the wrong spec. Nick got the paint changed and there was no delay in the job. I wonder how many painters would have just painted using the info they were given? They have patched holes and done drywall work for us this is excellent. The patches always blend perfectly with the rest of the wall. I highly recommend Lighthouse Painting for quality workmanship.

Young owner, knows job well. Discussed power washing house, trenching around perimiter of home, stripping aluminum patio cover, resurfacing stucco, trim work. Crew came in and immediately began resurfacing stucco, the first thing should be trenching and power washing. After much discussion the crew reluctantly stopped stuccoing and did more prep work. Wood work was decent. Stucco work was decent. Stripping of patio cover was poor job, this is even after much discussion and a promise that it would look "factory new". Overall B-. Seemed rushed at the end. Owner showed up once per day to check on progress. Crew used house toilet and asked to use microwave daily.
