This was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. They really went above and beyond and the quality of the work was top notch.

Professional and great to deal with. Work was perfect. A positive experience. Will hire again for kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom painting.

Nick was friendly and professional when he came out to give us an estimate. The price was fair and in line with some other estimates we got. I communicated with Theresa at his office who set everything up and answered all my questions and made sure the contract had everything agreed to in it. The process went smoothly and easily. The painting crew came on time as scheduled and were very nice and professional. They worked hard and did a very good and thorough job. Manuel the foreman kept me appraised of what they were doing and answered all my questions. On the last day one of the helpers Luis a nice young man cleaned up everything and made sure everything was done right and looked good. He did everything I asked him to do without any complaints or hesitation. Baltazar did an excellent job restoring the front oak doors. The house looks great and there were no problems or issues whatsoever. Excellent work and customer service the way it should be but often is not.

Lighthouse Painting was hired based on the outstanding reviews on this website. Our experience with Lighthouse was difficult and the workmanship was disappointing. The crew, led by owner Nick Datillo, did a poor job on our renovation project. When presented with our concerns throughout the project, Mr. Datillo was argumentative and disrespectful. He blamed the problems on a lack of communication, even though either my spouse or I were here all day every day guiding the crew. Mr. Datillo stopped by for a cursory inspection only once during the two weeks his crew was here. He has refused to correct the outstanding issues, leaving us to pay for an additional contractor to fix them. A partial list of the issues: - the dishwasher was left covered in paint after being improperly wrapped for adjacent cabinet spraying - the refrigerator door was dented during the course of the project - paint applied to a stucco repair cracked the next day as the compound was given insufficient time to cure - drywall repair at an interior back door was left unfinished - drywall compound splatters and paint drips throughout house were not cleaned up - door frame trim was cracked and damaged upon removal, and then sloppily puttied when reinstalled - drywall repair on kitchen ceiling was left unfinished - existing baseboard was not removed for the buildout of a new closet, and instead framed and drywalled over - the opening for the closet door was too large despite the the door assembly being on property throughout the project - bathroom cabinet doors were not sanded before painting, leaving previous drip marks showing - bathroom cabinet door hinges were painted over causing the doors to not close fully - a bath vanity niche was not built to plan despite plan drawings given to both the company owner and the crew - a niche built for kitchen cabinetry was not plumb despite the cabinetry sitting on site for measurement from the day work began - switches and outlets were not covered during drywalling and sanding, leaving them coated with drywall compound and dust - paint was spilled on a rug, ruining it - the crew left their lunch garbage out every day for us to dispose of - the crew was disrespectful of our both working from home, playing music and singing loudly throughout the day

We are very happy with the results done by Lighthouse Painting. Dominic gave us a very fair bid that was within our budget and Manuel and his crew Brandon and Joshua did an outstanding job from day one to finish. Their attention to detail while painting our house was very important to us as we have had other companies that would forget to mask and cover things properly. Our Lighthouse crew worked hard everyday to please us and to make sure we would not go over budget. Again we are very happy with the final outcome of the project and would highly recommend them for your painting needs, and we even had a neighbor hire Lighthouse Painting do a project and they were very pleased with the results as well. Great job!

They taped and sealed all furniture, paintings,TV, bed, etc. from any paint splatters. They also covered my wood floors. After completing their paint job, they removed every single tiny bit of dust, etc. that was accidentally on the floors and left my entire area sparkling clean. I would highly endorse this company for any painting project. The workers were friendly and explained everything they were doing. Don't waste your valuable time looking for anyone else, they are the REAL deal!! OMG, the pricing is compatible with skinny budgets too!!!!

Updated my review. Our start was a bit rough, but Nick works hard to make his customers happy and I appreciate that, even for a small job. After a late appointment and cancelled work date, Lighthouse Painting met my tight deadline by starting the job at 6 am. Their pricing was the most competitive, the quality of work is good, and the painters are professional. His team caulked and painted my baseboards, painted a fireplace, and sanded and painted a wood wall in 6 hours. Thanks Lighthouse!

We could not be happier. The ceilings in the bedrooms look fantastic. Although there was a small issue over the type of paint to use in part of the project, they made it right to our satisfaction. Crew was great, cleaning up at the end of each day.

After receiving a very competitive and attractive bid, I was concerned that there would be corners cut and had some fear of dubious quality. But the team that was sent was incredibly professional, thorough and detailed. Rafael, the foreman, was always available and ready to listen to whatever concerns, requests or clarifications I might have had. The prep and patch work was extremely thorough and the paint job was finalized on time with excellent quality. Would highly recommend.

The men working are very good, work hard and finished on estimated time. The owner did not like to keep his appointment to meet at start of job but the quality of work excellent. The house looks great.

It was a little more expensive, but I didn't have to have one thing fixed, so it was worth it. ?You know sometimes you have to go back and show places that need to be fixed, but not with him. ?He went back and check for any spots. ?He also did an exterior wall for me. ?I got what I paid for.

He does a quality job at an affordable price. He does usually run a little more expensive, but I just had quotes done and surprisingly his quote was the least. His quote was professional, he sent me an email. ?He is excellent.

Nick arrived to provide a quote on time with a friendly, professional manner. I felt his quote was very fair so he was hired to complete the work. The day the work was scheduled to begin, his crew arrived on time ready to work. They were efficient, neat and quick. Our home was painted faster than I expected and the work is very well done. I will most definitely use them again the next time I need similar services!
