Description of Work: I had called Laurie and scheduled an appointment and we agreed on the price would be $80.00 for a regular cleaning. She arrived on time and brought all her own equipment and supplies. I told her what I needed to be done in the house: I have a 3 bedrooms(only 2 bedrooms were cleaned) 2 bath living room, den, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen. She was to mop kitchen and bathroom floors. Vacuum the carpets, dust all the furniture and clean the mirrors. Laurie was there from 9:00 am-6:00pm. At 5:00 pm I had to tell her we have a dinner scheduled and we were going to have to leave in one hour. She did finish at 6:00pm. When I discussed paying her she proceeded to tell me it would cost $150.00. I had told her that we agreed on the phone it was $80.00 but she said that she did a deep cleaning and that price was an old price she quoted me a few weeks ago. I was very upset to think that Laurie had quoted me one price and wanted another. I had only $80.00 cash and ask her to come to some agreement on the price. We settled on $95.00 cash. Laurie did a good job cleaning my house but I felt for what was done it should not have taken that long. I told her we would need to make sure the discrepancy in cost does not happen again . I never had her services again.

Description of Work: Laurie arrived with her son to assist, and began working right away...they did an excellent and detailed job...my home has a lot of woodwork on the interior of most rooms, and everything was left looking beautiful; dust free and meticulously clean.

Description of Work: Laurie and her Son were very nice. I think they were a bit overwhelmed with the size and the need of our home. The work they did was good, I think it will be better the next time because most of the bigger stuff was done the first time. Thanks Laurie and Steve.

Description of Work: Laurie was very methodical and organized. She brought her own supplies and knew just what to do. She is very professional, but very personable. Good with my dogs too. She worked for me from May to August, 2012, every two weeks. I have had to cut costs, so I am doing my own cleaning now. But when I can afford it, I will have her come back. If you are tired of the "team" cleaners that leave many things undone, try Laurie. She is the cleaning person that we used to be spoiled by 20 years ago. Hard to fine someone like her.
