koi pond & water garden service

Dan is an extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional pond guy. We were extremely comfortable with him, his prices and expertise. Never having had a koi pond before, we needed a little bit of hand holding and Dan supplied it. He showed up when he said he would, he and his two guys got the 4,100 gal. hole dug, dealt appropriately with the several gas/water lines that suddenly appeared as the hole got larger and deeper; took care of purchasing and installing quality filters, equipment, lighting, etc. They worked until the job was done, staying long hours during the day to make it happen. They were very neat and thorough. He even capped off and rerouted our sprinklers and did a lovely bamboo treatment to an area in back of the waterfall to hide the pond equipment. Everything he did was perfect and it looks very, very nice. The price went over what he originally estimated, but that was because of the choices we made in rock and equipment. Dan also made sure we had what we needed to stock koi in a healthy pond environment. We highly recommend him.

His fees for the equipment were not marked up. He directed me to the sellers website where I purchased the pump and filter. The labor costs were exactly as quoted. Dan also services my pond on a bi-weekly basis ( Koi and goldfish ). I am also going to engage his services for some additional improvements to the pond.
