Best Appliance Installations

We purchased all of our appliances from Snyder Diamond and like the previous review said, they recommended Best Appliances. They charge $1475 for a so called “Best”experience installation. They damaged everything they touched and never even turned on the fridge, take off the plastic or do a walk through before leaving. I also called Snyder Diamond to let them know that this was the type of company they had representing them. The worst thing they did was charge our credit card $16,400 instead of $1475. That created a snowball effect with another set of problems. We ended up getting the over charge back, but Raquel, who claimed she was the owner but is not, didn’t even give a penny off for all the damage they cause. Please stay far away from this unprofessional, irresponsible, shameful company.

This company was recommended to us by Snyder Diamond when we purchased our fridge and stove. I've since called Snyder Diamond and told them of the terrible experience we had with Best Appliance Installation in the hopes that they will stop sending them business. First, we called for weeks about scheduling an estimate and never got a call back, despite leaving multiple messages. This should have been our first clue. Eventually someone picked up when we called, and we scheduled the installation. The install itself was fine- they arrived within the scheduled window, were polite, and seemed to do a fine job. After they left, however, we discovered that the internal water dispenser on our fridge was not working. I spoke to our plumber who recently installed a water line for the new fridge and he told me they should have flushed the water line before hooking it up. I called them right away to arrange what seemed like a simple fix and had to wait a week for Raquel to fit us on the schedule. On two occasions, I was given appointment windows for service where no one showed up, so I wasted over 5 hours waiting at home. The third time we were told someone would come between 9 and 10am. At 10:30 that morning, I called to let them know no one had shown, and finally someone arrived. Even though I'd explained to Raquel over the phone many times what my plumber had told me, they neglected to flush the water line. Instead they were in and out of our kitchen in about 5 minutes and told us that it was a faulty water line. The water line is brand new, and we've now been 3 weeks without a functioning internal water dispenser, which was one of the main selling points of the fridge. Now we have to pay the plumber to fix their mistake. Our experience with this company was beyond disappointing. It's clear that once they cashed our check they were not interested in making sure the appliance was actually installed correctly. I will never recommend them, and I hope Snyder Diamond follows through on their word to stop recommending them as well.

On the day of the delivery/installation, the two men came a bit early and (to me) easily removed the large Subzero from the kitchen. It spewed water on the floor, and they returned with towels to clean up the floor. The area behind the old fridge was dusty and cobwebby, and they returned with a vac and cleaned up the area before and after they shaved the side of the cabinet to hold the new refrigerator.They brought the fridge, and were afraid the door handle would be damaged going through the back door, so they removed the back door in order to make sure the fridge handle wouldn't be scratched. All the connections were attached, they ran water through the line for the door water/ice dispenser, explained to me some of the features of this fridge (yes, it comes with a manual, but it's always nice if someone can show you the ropes).They cleaned up and replaced the back door before they left. And-bliss!-I was left with a quiet, new, WORKING refrigerator!
