Jim was very responsive from our initial contact; quoted a fair price; and showed up as scheduled. He called ahead of time to confirm we were at our house for the appointment. He completed the work in a reasonable amount of time and we are quite pleased with his work. We're planning to hire Jim to do some additional electrical work this fall.

I did all the prep work by removing the sheet rock and sheer wall to keep costs down. Jim was very straight forward as to when he could get to this small job re: his schedule. He was very on time, maybe even early. Standard electrition prices I found running $75 / hr. I referred him to a friend who needed another small job done and he was able to fit him in.

I called Jim a week ago and he came out right on time to see what I needed. He gave me an estimate and a tentative date and confirmed it an hour later. We set a date and time and on that date he actually called to say he was running a little bit early and would it be OK to get started early? I said sure and he was here in about twenty minutes. Excellent. He got the work done as agreed in the time estimated and even corrected a small mistake a previous electrician had done with the aforementioned timer allowing my water softener to run again. Terrific. I will certainly use him again. No question.

Jim is a great communicator and does an excellent job. He installed four overhead lighting fixtures for me and three under cabinet lights. He also put new outlets into my granite kitchen counters. He was quick, fair and did things right the first time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Jim came over and fixed my vent fan and refused to take any money "cause it was so easy". This is the only guy we will use in the future.

Jim was able to fix an electrical outlet that another electrician told me did not have power. It did have power but was part of a dimmer panel. We needed full power at that location for a television. He also replaced a broken light fixture. I will certainly call Jim again with any electrical issues in my home.

Jim arrived on time and started testing the outlets that I was complaining about. He was very thorough. We had an issue with our garbage disposal not working. Turned out that the outlet and switches were old and needed replacing. He found out the problem right away and fixed everything. Jim was honest and straight forward. I would use him again with any of my electrical problems.

As a result of the reviews on Angie?s List, we called Jim Mandichak at QRJ Electric to quote on adding receptacles and lighting in a kitchen we were remodeling. Jim arrived on time and walked through the house with us, making suggestions and identifying problems we didn?t even know we had. We received a quote the next day, and scheduled the work with him. Jim does all the work himself. He moved a 220 outlet, added numerous 110 outlets, added an outside outlet, and added electrical boxes in the ceiling for new track lighting in both the kitchen and living room. Jim was a pleasure to work with. His hourly rate was more than reasonable. His work was excellent, his attitude was great, and his invoice was very detailed and accurate. We will have Jim back to do more work, and will not hesitate to recommend QRJ Electric.

Moved a Chandelier and placed new wiring and switch for it. James did a great job and cleaned up after wards. I'm having him do additional work in January.

I cannot say enough about Jim and QJR Electric. I have been in the building / development business for 20+ years and he is the absolute best electrician I have ever come across. My brother is an electrician and I would call Jim before my brother!

Jim was very responsive to my call. He arrived for our scheduled appointment right on time and within 10 minutes had the problem solved. He found that one elusive GFI that we did not find in our check of GFIs. He also did not charge us for the call.
