Screens On-Site

Gave estimate over the phone, was able to come within the week (called on Tuesday, came on Friday). Arrived on time, did all the repair work in the street on his own trailer, so no noise or anything in/around our house. Very polite, very good work. he did not just fix the screen in the storm door, but also noticed that the screen was too wide, and therefore not fitting in the frame, and thus blocking the window from being able to slide up and down over it. Fixed all that for the same price of $45 he had quoted for just fixing the screen. no extra costs. For the patio door he repaired the screen ($40), but also fixed the wheels (for $25 extra, exactly as he had told me over the phone), and the handle/lock combination (no extra cost). He was here for over 2.5 hours, only $110 total, and the doors work better than ever before.

I called Paul on a Saturday asking if he could come and replace some screens in a rental property. He answered the phone immediately and said he could not come that day but offered to come the next day (Sunday). He also gave me quotes over the phone. Standard screens - $28 if existing frame is used and $38 if new frames are needed. He arrived within 15 minuets of scheduled appointment and it took him less than an hour to replace the screening on pre-existing frame. He reinstalled the screens and checked for fit. He was professional, efficient and did a good job. The whole process was very easy and painless for me; took about an hour. Paul said that the minimum order for him to come on-site is $100. For smaller orders, he has shop in Campbell where you can drop screens off.
