+ -1 moreFast, smooth and painless. Order at the counter and pick up at various places in the yard. The folks behind the counter are helpful and patient. Update: I accept whatever boards I'm given by the guys in the yard. Most of the time this works great and I get good lumber. Sometimes I pay dearly for my inattention and am sold stuff that is no better than firewood because it is full of defects like splits, knots and checking. Caveat Emptor.
Description of Work: There is no category for this Lumber Yard / Building Supplies business. (Hint hint). I purchase lumber and fasteners from Pine Cone occasionally for little house projects, mostly fence repairs. They provide better quality materials at generally lower prices than the local Big Box stores. Update: With the deepening recession, prices at the big box stores is down and quality is up, placing Pine Cone at a significant competitive disadvantage. Things change. Oh Well.
