Description of Work: We had a backflow prevention valve connected to our sprinkler system that was malfunctioning and wasting a lot of water. Backflow Prevention Specialists asked for photos of the valve and its placement to evaluate the situation. We were offered two options: refurbish by replacing internal components ($884) or repair by replacing only rubber parts of the assembly ($353). We chose refurbish because the valve had been problematic for some time. The work was done promptly and as promised. The company was easy to work with. The price is an issue, but I could not find any other people to perform this service.
