Description of Work: Jody called me back within 1 hour of leaving a voicemail, and I had a garage door opener that had shorted out. I live in North Redondo, slightly out of their usual job-site range, but Jody said he could be there the next morning at 7:30am, which was very helpful for me (I didn't have to take half-a-day off work just to be there). He worked quickly, explained the problem, and even checked out the door and springs and lubricated as needed. I felt like I had a brand new quiet garage door opener. I am almost ready for a new garage door and he gave me a written estimate on the spot and explained my options (and the price was very fair). I used a local garage door service about 2 years ago on my nearby rental unit, and they were average at best. I would never use anyone else but Empire after this recent experience. I heartily recommend them to other Angie's List customers.
