Very well! Dave came over the week before to give me an estimate and answer my questions. He was honest with services that they don't typically provide (like rose pruning, landscape design and weekly gardening services), and gave me some ideas of other services he can provide (like fence installs and landscape design implementation). He gave me additional quotes for tree trimming services and even suggested that if we wanted to have him cut down a eucalyptus tree that we could probably make some money on it as firewood after seasoning it. He was a little slow on getting back to me on a date of when he could do the work. I ended up having to chase him down and leave him a message and then finally catch him (I know he's busy, and he doesn't seem to have an answering service - he actually takes all of the calls). He had a crew of three guys with professional weed trimmers that cleared the brush and side yard and another guy that cleared the planter. They trimmed the trees back according to the regulations. They spent the whole day and also hauled out the trimmings from the side yard and trees. Dave came in the afternoon to inspect the work, too. I thought the price was reasonable, Dave was knowledgeable and the work looked great afterwards (I wish I had before pictures). We were really pleased!

I don't dislike anything. He is competent. His crews are hard working and efficient. As long as you are clear about what it is you want done, they will do it. According to what he told me, he used to be a fireman for the fire department. There he was in charge of making sure that property owners were in compliance with fire code. So, he decided that he would work independently to do that. He guarantees any brush clearing that they do will match whatever the fire department requires. His prices are very fair and reasonable.

He does tree clearing, brush clearance, landscaping, hauling there is a lot of yard tap stuff that he does. I got his name out of the Shaddelfields property owner's association newsletter. He had a block add in there and at that time I was looking for somebody to remove some brush out of the hillside behind my house due to the LA fire department regulations and he has experience of that. He used to be a LA fire department crew member that was responsible for doing that task for the fire department. So he understood their peculiar requirements better than most people would. He has done several turning and hauling jobs. He specifically likes clearing junk that people wanted to get rid of and his processes are pretty reasonable. They did some cleaning on the hill side of some weeds etc., and they will be coming back to clear more. He is knowledgeable, he is quick to respond, and his crew does a good job. Some of them are working for him several years. His pricing is completely reasonable, may be a little low in some instances. I have given them a tip for the way his crew handled everything. I have been pleased by their work. I will use them in the future and they are going to do something for me shortly.
