CALIFORNIA KITCHENS LNC

We were assigned to designer Denyse, who created an appropriate floor plan for our remodeled kitchen/dining room. She had good ideas and led us in some good directions for tile and countertop sources. However, we did not receive full-service design support from her, even though her commission included this. She also put us in the hands of an awful contractor, and as he began to work she completely stopped communicating. Lots of pieces were missing and she kept no notes or always lost them so she never knew what we still needed and ultimately decided we were "difficult" and stopped communicating before the job had been completed. The place is overpriced. We did well because our cabinet style was very basic, but I would never recommend using this place, unless you are going to spend $$$ so you get the attention you need. I feel I was put on the back burner because mine was a small non-celebrity job. Also, the office does not use computers or e-mail, so good luck with that.

I had a salesperson who I thought was very good suggest that I purchase demo appliances. She told me that the items would be brand new. Yet when it was delivered, none of the items were in the box. We had problems with the range fitting. When we called the company to help us, they suggested it was a part we needed. We waited a few weeks before the item came in. When we installed it, the range still did not fit. When we looked further for the actual part needed, we found out it was very hard to find because the range was 6 years old, when I was told it was new items they use on the sales floor. All the items sold to me were outdated, not at all new and current like they described. Everything went well with my remodeling the kitchen except this company. I had a court judge suggest I should sue. I will never use this company again.
