Description of Work: They came to my house to give me a quote for some work on my foundation. The gentleman, Mark, seemed to be very nice. He said he would get me a quote the following week but never did. I emailed him weeks later, thinking maybe he needed more time, and asked him for the quote but didn't get a response at all. Really rude in my opinion. I've never encountered that before. So I chose a different contractor - who was much more thorough during the inspection process and gave me a quote the following day!

Description of Work: Kyle arrived a few minutes early (I like that). He inspected the whole property, corner to corner. He checked out under the house (the crawl space) and gave me good news.

Description of Work: I met Alpha Structural for a client. Alpha Structural did an in-depth assessment and bid. The inspection was time consuming and the inspector took all the time needed to answer any and all questions. The level of professionalism was amazing. So far my client has not had the needed work done, but I have advised them that in my estimation, Alpha Structural is the company for the job.

Description of Work: The company sent a man who did an evaluation of the structural integrity of my house. He climbed under the house and inspected the foundation etc. Because he said it looked solid, I did not have to hire the company to do anything. I felt that the company was very honest in their evaluation.

Description of Work: Alpha Structural provided a proper surface drainage system to the existing front drain-line system. They included a new reinforced concrete walkway to run along the side of my home, where a sidewalk is currently missing. Work included a 4" drain-line running underneath the new reinforced concrete to the existing line, with new catch basin drain boxes. Also, an 8' reinforced concrete block wall was installed. Thanks to Mark Schlaich, Rejean Guy, Arturo and Alex, et al for their professional courtesy, information and guidance. Super Job!

Description of Work: We got quotes from them for two jobs. A trench drain in the backyard and replacing grass in our driveway to make room for one more car. |The representative was professional and seemed knowledgeable, but the quotes were very high compared to others. Replacing grass with plain concrete on our driveway was quoted for about $7000. The size of the grass area is slightly larger than the footprint of my minivan. The drain in the backyard cost was about twice that of competing bids.

Description of Work: They were fantastic. We just needed advise and the professional from Alpha Structural came free of charge, was very thorough in explaining things to us, and gave us an appraisal of the few cracks in the wall that were causing us concern.

Description of Work: I was expecting an estimate on how to level the house and correct a defect in the foundation. The estimator said nothing could be done unless a geological survey was done for at least 6,000 dollars.

Description of Work: I had concerns about the structural integrity of my home. Kyle looked everything over and decided that I really did not need any work done. He was very thorough and professional. If I do decide to have anything done, I will definitely contact Alpha Structural.

Description of Work: Alpha Structural reinforced the structural supports for the porte cochere on our home. They handled the permitting and city inspectors, as well as doing a good job. Alpha Structural has an excellent estimator - thoughtful and experienced. Their workers are all employees.

Description of Work: Inspection of an old Craftsman house Charlie was knowledgeable efficient and friendly. This service provided me key information and gave me the information I needed to make a very big decision.

Description of Work: Contractor hasn't come to the side to evaluate the scope of the work and to provide the quotes. We have not been given a sufficient reason why Alpha Structural, Inc is not interested in $15,000 - $25,000 job. We have hired another contractor.

Description of Work: We asked them to do an inspection to assess if there was structural damage. Their assessment correctly determined that there was no damage. Very professional firm.

Description of Work: We got an estimate from Alpha. I was expecting to be told that I needed all sorts of work to get my 1919 home into sound structural shape. What a surprise when Alpha honestly told me that my house was in great shape structurally and suggested some options if I wanted greater security, but didn't push any immediate work on me. I will use them for sure when I decide to proceed with the work they recommended.
