He came in and fixed it in 2 minutes and refused to charge me anything even when I offered! Amazing. Never in my life have I had that happen.

Stephan was very responsive from start to finish, was detailed and thorough with the quote, and very competitively priced. Stephan and his workers were very conscientious when breaking through plaster walls to minimize the mess and the extent of the openings. They were quick in the actual re-piping, and Stephan was very good in dealing with my ex-wife (who actually was there to oversee most of the work). The only minor little mistake, was Stephan had determined the gas lines to the hot water heaters to the 2 units were switched (so we were basically paying for the rental unit, and the tenant for our gas) But after he switched them and left, we discovered that the gas lines were not switched (we didn't have any hot water) and we called him and he came back immediately to fix it. His responsiveness impressed me. After the job was completed they did a thorough job of cleaning the debris and dust left over from their work.

I thought they were very professional and in general very good. They seemed to know what they were doing. They were reasonably prompt and true to their word. I felt they were fairly trustworthy. I thought they were good and I would probably use them again. Another company I looked into was outrageously priced compared to New Pipe.

I got a live human being when I called the very first time and was able to make an appointment at a convenient time. When the service man (Mike?) was caught in traffic he called and said he would be a few minutes late. He was only about ten minutes late. He was super nice and attentive. Now everything works super!

The first time that they did it they put it out three feet from the wall where people could trip on them. So, I called them back and they came back out and fixed it. They were very good about helping me.

After over 20 years, I can finally say I found an honest, intelligent plumber! I plan to use him for all my plumbing needs in the future. When Stephan came to give us a free estimate, he told us exactly how the job would be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost. He was the 3rd plumber we interviewed. The prices were fairly close, but Stephan won my confidence. He didn't try to make the job sound more complicated than it was, and committed to finishing the work in one day. His team showed up on time and the job was complete in less than 5 hours. The first plumber I interviewed said it could take 2 days and that they might need to cut into the siding on the outside of the house!

We were working on a bathroom project and found we weren't up to updating some old plumbing. We called Saturday afternoon. Mike came over within 30 minutes gave an estimate that we agreed to and then went to work. He finished in 2 hours which allowed us to get on with out project.

We were very happy with the excellent service and quality work.

They arrived on time to do the work asked of them. I would use their services in the future. I would recommend them. They got done faster then they thought they would. They were courteous and kind while they were here. They cleaned up after themselves.

I got an appointment quickly and at my preferred time with no trouble. I was given an exact time rather than a range as most service providers do. Mike arrived early, which was great, assessed the problem and gave me a firm quote. He explained that the leak was from the water spilling out of the tank and nothing more serious. He replaced the assembly. We discussed some other things I am thinking about doing in the bathroom and he was very helpful. Later that day, I did realize that the toilet was running every few seconds. Since it was Saturday afternoon, I decided to call them on Monday. When I called, they were very accommodating and I got an early appointment, Mike was early again (good - I needed to get to work) and fixed the problem (flapper.) While I would have preferred that he would have thought to check the flapper on the first visit, he was apologetic and the problem was resolved quickly.

These guys weren't the cheapest bid, but they seemed very professional. Always showed up on time and told me exactly what they were going to do, took time to answer questions. Didn't raise price after the job had started. AND they left the property and yard in BETTER shape than they found it. I was VERY impressed. Would definitely use them again.

Arrived within an hour of my call. Speedy and professional work, if perhaps pricey. Received an Angie's List discount on stated hourly rate of $150, which presumably applies to any fraction of an hour as the job couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes.

They offered a Saturday appointment (I thought to do the actual work but it was just to look at things I needed repaired and offer a quote). They came back the following week (timing was okay with me) to do the work. It took about two hours. Turned out one toilet valve wasn't installed correctly (from the factory) but I didn't discover it was leaking until after they left. He came back as requested and told me it was a manufacturer issue so I called for a replacement valve. He also gave me a quote on replacing outside galvanized pipe - major job! They were good but no better than anyone else I've used. I will try someone else for my next plumbing repairs.

Michael, the plumber, was friendly, informative and quite competent. I was very pleased with the work.

Roots in our sewer line had become an ever-increasing problem. We have had several other companies attempt clean outs, which were poorly done and have had estimates for a permanent fix. One company even gave us an estimate to replace our line without actually locating where the line was. Stephan and his crew provided excellent, professional and prompt service. They arrived at our home when they said they would. We never felt that we were being strong-armed into unnecessary or expensive repairs. Stephan suggested many options to handling our issue. Although Burbank construction codes prevented us from performing the repairs in the same manner as other cities, we are quite satisfied that we made the right choice of repairs and contractors. We recommend New-Pipe without reservation and will most certainly call on them again for any plumbing work we need. I just hope our experiences with other non-plumbing contractors will go as well!

I called at 10:30 on Sunday night expecting to just leave a message. My call was answered by a rep. who took my info and told me they'd get back to me shortly; 20 minutes later I got a call! They said they'd call first thing in the morning to arrange a good time. Monday morning, 8:15 am they called and were at the house 20 minutes later! Mike checked out the situation (I was over zealous and put too many veggies down the disposal too quickly), got his tools and had the whole thing finished in a few minutes. Whole appointment was maybe 30 minutes and my disposal and drains are working great.

I was short on time and he came in with a crew and did all of the work in one day. They did good work and did everything I hoped they would do. They did have to come back for one more quick change and they came back immediately and fixed it. His prices were very competitive.

Employees were on-time, organized and very professional. Stephan wasn't there the whole time, but he was there in the beginning and just before completion to answer any questions I had. There was a very capable supervisor there at all times, so I always had someone I could go to with questions or for updates. There was one tiny glitch because the tub/shower fixture that I purchased wasn't compatible with something but Stephan went to Home Depot and got whatever part was needed. They laid down cloths to protect the floors all through out the house and were very neat all along the way, so they didn't have to clean up much in the end. All walls were patched perfectly so all I have to do is paint. They arrived at 8:30am and finished at 3:00pm! Very fast!

Easy to contact Stephan who was in charge, gave a quick estimate, was able to do the work right away, did the work fast, less than two days, did not inconvenience the family, water was not turned off overnight, Stephan was always available by cell phone, they were flexible and worked with my schedule, they were polite and friendly. It was a good experience. Some minor mistakes were made; under sink water filter and washing machine were not hooked back up, someone came out right away to fix these, one trip for each, very responsive. There was a pipe that leaked in the front yard a couple of months later which was fixed immediately. I will use them again with confidence.

I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and needed to get some plumbing done in a hurry. They showed up very quickly and were able to handle a variety of jobs. Mike was a very hard worker and always showed up when he said he would. There is very good communication with this company. You can always reach someone and they call back immediately. Their prices are more than fair.

We've had a mystery smell (sort of a mens' room urinal aroma) in the house for weeks now. After doing some on-line research, we thought perhaps new wax rings on the toilet, a check of the toilet vent pipe's flashing, and a check under the house for a burst pipe might be in order. I called New-Pipe, told them my story, they took all my information and then called me back within ten minutes. They were able to send somebody out the very same day! Mike was on-time, extra-courteous, down-to-earth, and very knowledgeable. He wasn't able to smell what we've been smelling, but admitted he may be a bit immune at this point (heeheee). He found no leaks under the house, found the vent to be in order, checked that the underside of the toilet (once removed) was clean, and made an extra-tight seal using 2 wax rings. He left the bathroom spotless and didn't track anything through the house. We can now rule out a plumbing issue being behind the phantom smell!

Stephan returned my call to the company within minutes of my message. One of the employees, Mike, came within the promised hour, three hours after I called. I had a drain pipe under the kitchen sink replaced and he also tightened the water line that was dripping under same sink. He had all the materials in his truck and had all repairs done in under 15 minutes. Very professional and highly recommended. This is my first experience with Angie's List and I am highly satisfied with the recommendation.

I called after reading the reviews on the list and the receptionist was very nice and scheduled us for 1:30 that afternoon. Our repairman arrived early, was very professional, cleaned the drain and cleaned up the mess that it made. Overall, very good experience and I am going to get an estimate from them for some plumbing issues we have coming up with a renovation.

Very good. Greg was polite, knowledgeable and he did a great job. He also replaced the filter faucet that was loose and not in proper working order. I didn't even ask him to do so. I am glad he did. Overall the filter functions 100% better than when I first moved in this house.

I couldn't have been more impressed with Mike's work. He was friendly and helpful, and made sure everything worked perfectly before leaving my house. I'd recommend New Pipe to anyone who needs plumbing work done in their home.
