The toilets, bathtub, shower and kitchen sink all clogged and backed up at the same time. New Pipe does not give estimates over the phone. AShot and a helper showed up quickly - I waited approximately an hour. The clean-out is located in an inaccessible spot, so AShot indicated they'd have to snake the drain by removing a toilet. He quoted me a price ahead of time, and also warned me that the toilet was very secure and could be broken in the process. After I agreed to the proposed work, they removed the toilet successfully, and snaked out a large wad of roots. Then they used a camera to show me more roots in the line, and pinpointed exactly where the roots were located. AShot recommended making an appointment for them to return next week to put in a clean-out at the front of the house, so they can remove these additional roots. They re-installed the toilet better than before, as they fixed a pre-existing leak in the process. They cleaned up neatly.

Great. Prices were reasonable, work was well done, servicemen were prompt, polite and conscientious and left no mess behind.

He was excellent and really efficient. He was great and very reliable. They took care of our problem very fast. They came within an hour of me calling them. He assessed the problem. He came very early in the morning the next day and had it fixed by that afternoon. We couldn't use any of the sinks or showers in the house. He was very concerned. He was super nice and trustworthy. He is a good plumber and we've used him before.

Work was completed in one day - Stephan had to return the next day to sort out a problem in the laundry room. The work was fast and professional.

Stephan was great. Very helpful and concerned that I got a good job for a fair price. He always kept me informed of what he was doing. He even told me exactly how to paint the wall that he had to cut into to fix the pipe. I would use them again in a second. I wish they did other construction work.

I called early on Saturday morning and they had someone out here within the hour, which for a Saturday/weekend, I was impressed with. They were professional, friendly and courteous on the phone, and were here within the time frame they said they would be. Because I did not know exactly what was wrong, I was unable to obtain a quote beforehand, but felt like the work that was done, was fairly reasonably priced. It was raining, and I wish that the technician had had shoe covers. I had just had my house cleaned the day before and he tracked dirt in the house and clean bathroom. In fairness, I could have asked him to take his shoes off, but I kind of expect in this line of work that shoe covers is something a plumbing service would automatically have. Nonetheless, he performed the work quickly and explained everything clearly. I did get the nagging sense that I was being slightly "sold" on future repairs to other things in the bathroom and house. In other words, it wasn't just the pump in the toilet tank that needed fixing, it's my pipes in general, he told me, even though he didn't go under the house or use a camera to inspect them. When fixing the drain stopper in my sink, I was told there was another big part I will eventually need to fix a loose sink faucet. All of these things may be true, I just don't know, but it felt a little salesman-y to me. I was on a tight time schedule, and he worked quickly and efficiently to meet my time line which I very much appreciated. He even offered to come back later if I needed to leave, and I appreciated his accommodation. I thought that was great. He was polite, well-kept, and did a great job on the things I asked him to fix. I would definitely use them again in a bind on smaller jobs like this around the house-not sure about bigger jobs like pipe replacement.

I awoke one day to a sound of Niagara falls under my house. I called New-Pipe(NP)and they sent Micheal the on Friday as we agreed. He came on time, fixed the leak, and said half my pipes were rusty galvanized and should be replaced. I knew they needed to be replaced. He charged me $175 which he said would be refunded if I replaced pipes. Stephan came to my house and negotiated deal for replacing pipes. Stephan and Micheal are Armenian, very good communicators, and are professional in demeanor. We agreed on Friday or Saturday. On Thursday, I received call that NP would be at my house at 8:30-9:30 on Friday. On Friday at 8:30 I received call that NP had an emergency and would be out on Saturday at 8:30-9:30. Stephan arrived first, on time, and then his crew of about 5 tradesmen. He set them up and left. Everything went like clockwork. The plumbers were Hispanic and communicated adequately. They asked what I wanted when there was a decision, saying "You're the boss." Consequently, I was happy with all the decisions, such as whether to open a wall to put in pipes, or to run the pipes outside the wall. Good points: The stucco patching done on the outdoors wall outside my bathroom was superb, and I was very impressed with their workmanship. All their material was top notch. They installed a tub faucet set I purchased for free. The float assembly of my toilet wasn't working and they replaced that without my asking. They made a free replacement access door which was missing from my outside wall with wood I supplied. Other issues: The wall behind my tub was already water-damaged and consequently tiles broke out, but that could not have been avoided, and Stephan alerted a tile worker who called me the next day. The cold water pipe was placed about 2" above the hot water pipe under my sink(it's cosmetic, no one will ever see it, and I'm picky about details). Best of all, they were in and out in 5 hours and cleaned up after themselves. There was no foul language or side comments in another language, they did not leave any personal trash, they did not disturb anything inside my house or my garden, they were friendly, and didn't mind if I watched their work. All my pipes work, the flow is impressive, and I cant find any problems. Overall, my experience was much better than the average one I have had with contractors. I would use NP again and I would recommend them to my friends.

I had the kitchen sink drain pipe break in the crawlspace beneath our house. It took probably over a week for us to become aware of the problem. Eventually the odor from the gray water sewage under the house was impossible to ignore. First I had to call a water restoration cleanup company. Once they had finished their cleanup, I needed a plumber to do the repair. My first estimate was a absolute ripoff and I consider their estimate to be criminal. They wanted $3200.00 do repair a broken pipe. I then joined Angie's List, and checked the reviews and called New-Pipe. They were professional, friendly, the work was top notch, they were quick and punctual. Total cost, $450.00. The job took 3 hours. If you consider that an average plumber with an assistant is $150.00 per hour, they didn't really charge me for parts (probably $40.00). But they have a customer for life now.

Top notch work all around! They arrived on-time on all visits. They honored the quote despite the unexpected difficulty encountered with the washing machine drain pipe reconfiguration. While working on the drain, they realized that the pipe was in desperate need of a "snaking". They snaked the drain for about 20 minutes. Approx. 3 month after the initial work, the new bathroom faucet started to shift on it's base. They returned promptly to adjust and tighten the faucet (all under warranty for no additional charge). Awesome!

I have a 1941 house that has quirky, old plumbing. I had tried to replace the faucet and drain on my sink at 1 a.m., which led to poor judgment and a whole can of worms. After trying in vain all the following day to fix the problem myself (the threading was corroded, new fixtures were the wrong size, nothing was lining up, etc...), I finally admitted I needed a plumber to take care of it (not to mention, I had guests coming the next day and really needed it to be working). At 9 a.m. on Sunday, I called New-Pipe. Within two hours I had Mike at my door, who very kindly and professionally fixed the mess I had made. He gave me a quote before starting any work, explained what could be done and where the problems were, and set about fixing it quickly. Thank goodness for the promptness, professionalism and helpfulness of New Pipe! I will be calling them again for sure. After all, I still have several sinks left to screw up.

Grigor was on time, professional and courteous. He got right to the snaking with the camera and did the diagnosis and showed me exactly what and where the problem was. Using the camera he pinpointed exacly where the problems are and where they are going to get worse. What I really appreciate is the honesty in giving me his personal and professional opinion. He suggested to not do anything jsut yet. The drain pipe will need to be replaced at some point,but for now, it's open - working and not in immediate need for work. It was refreshing to hear it. The best part is there was no charge. When I need the work done, Grigor will get the call first.

They showed up on Sunday afternoon. This was a emergency call. They were professional and fast. They did the work and it went great. The price was high because it was Sunday afternoon.

I discovered my main drain was backed up the morning I was leaving on a trip. Dirty water had already backed up into my shower and the bathroom had the stench of sewage. I called New-Pipe (Bravo-Rooter) from the airport; they had a plumber at my house within an hour and a half.

I called about 10:30 to request that they snake my toilet. After one additional telephone call from the company to get the scope of my problem their servicemen arrived around 12:45pm. They snaked the toilet for approximately 5 minutes and everything was a-okay. Since they were here I asked the gentleman to diagnose the reason my garbage disposal stopped working more than 1+ years ago. He tried his best, but said the garbage disposal was corroded and had to be replaced. Since he couldn't repair that problem he didn't charge me the $20 repair fee.

I was having repeated problems with my pressure relief valve on my relatively new water heater. A handyman told me I probably needed a pressure regulator. New-Pipe confirmed the diagnosis and did the work pleasantly and professionally. They even replaced the worn pressure relief valve on the water heater in the original estimate.

New Pipe immediately got to work. They proceeded with an exact idea of what they needed to do. Very professional, easy to talk to, communicative about their progress. I never heard the dreaded, "Uh, sir, I think we've got a problem," which always means that I'm the one who has the problem. They showed up early and worked constantly the entire day, leaving the area clean and safe until they returned the next day. When they finished, they left the premises in excellent shape. I would definitely use them again. Greg and his assistant were always on site and highly competent.

He identified the problem within 5 mins and the drain was cleared in a jiffy. He is neat and clean and very polite.

In September 2008 I called New Pipe to go to one of my units in Burbank because the tenant said her kitchen faucet had no cold water, only hot. They went out immediately, called me and told me the kitchen faucet needed to be replaced and quoted me $140. I asked them to do the work and they did. In November 2008, the same tenant called and said her kitchen faucet didn't work, her kitchen sink wouldn't drain and her toilet leaked. I called New Pipe again and they said they'd send someone out, and they did. However, this time they did not call me and tell me what needed to be done and give me a quote. They just did the work and called me afterward and said I owe them $375. I pointed out that they just replaced the kitchen faucet two months ago, so they reduced it by $50. The reduced fee of $325 was too high for the work done, and they should not have done the work without checking with me first. I paid the $325, but I will not use New Pipe again.

Stopped up toilet Saturday morning. Was pleasantly surprised to get quick service (about 90 minutes from original call to answering service.) They sent two men, thinking that it might be a sewer problem. About 10 minutes work, so price seemed a little high, but this was the price they quoted and I agreed.

Ashot came out to help with our plumbing issue in the evening. He was the second technician that day. The first technician came out and attempted to use a standard snake that you can purchase in most major home repair stores. He called his supervisor who provided a quote over the cell to replace the whole drain line from the kitchen with a new copper line and a 10-year-warranty. Ashot from New-Pipe Plumbing & Rooter came later that evening and used a larger snake to clean out the drain line. He was courteous, professional, and quick. We would utilize their services again.

You know how it sounds when your hose is on? Well that was the sound I was hearing, but the hose wasn't on, and nothing seemed to be leaking. I went to Angie's List and found New Pipe. They were so highly recommended that I decided to use them. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. Although I wasn't in a rush, she said she could get me someone here within about an hour and a half, so I figured why not. They gave me a 30 minute window, which we all know is amazing when dealing with service companies. They arrived exactly at the start of the window. Two guys showed up. The one who appeared to be in charge was Ashot. He was very nice and polite. The other guy didn't talk much, but he too was polite. It didn't take more than 5 minutes for them to figure out what the problem was. They needed to get a part, and said it would take about an hour. They were all ready to turn the water back on (and then off again when they returned), but I told them that was not necessary. They were back in about 20 minutes, took another 10 minutes to finish the job, and that was it. End of noise and end of leak! They even gave me a 10% discount because I told them I got their name from Angie's List.

On Yom Kippur afternoon, with 20 people coming to break the fast, my toilets backed up. I called my usual plumber who responded immediately. It turned out that the problem was much bigger than just clearing the drains, and he didn't have the available staff to do more. So I turned to Angie's List and found New-Pipe Plumbing. Greg Khachatryan and his crew showed up within an hour and we soon discovered that this was a big job! The sewer line was clogged and there was no access to the clean-out under the house. They got right to work (even into the dark) to make sure I had plumbing for my dinner, and said they would come back the next day to finish the job. The next day, the news got worse. Turned out that the sewer line was blocked and cracked all the way to the middle of the street. Greg called in another company to line the sewer line under the street, but he continued to supervise the job. I didn't have time to do much comparative shopping, but I did some research on the internet and I think his prices were extremely fair for the amount of work they did. In fact, because it was so expensive, he let me pay for the work in two installments. I was especially impressed with how quickly they showed up - a whole team was working to get me through the evening. They showed up exactly when they said they would, they cleaned up everything (and even watered my plants while they were at it). Everything about the job was extremely efficient and professional. Greg clearly explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They kept me well-informed of their progress. I could not have been more pleased with their work. I would not hesitate to call them again and to recommend them.

They arrived a few minutes EARLY, located the problem and then, realizing the plumbing was 45 years old, went off and brought back parts that fit, fixed the problem, all in enough time for my MIL to get to an early dinner. The company stayed in contact with me to get approvals on everything. Very impressed.

They certainly deserve the super service award that they have earned. The service man was very professional and helpful. I would recommend them to others.

I called based on the great Angie's List referrals and this company is fantastic. They showed up within an hour and Mike the technician was professional, honest and fast. He was able to declog the disposal so we didn't need to purchase a new one, but he was upfront about the cost in either situation. I then had him look at some other work we're considering. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.
