FP Construction

we were extremely close to hiring Sam & FP Construction, but due to poor service we could not hire him. we had done two walk-throughs and agreed to a price for the work, but Sam would not send me a contract. at first he kept putting it off, saying he would send us a contract soon. then on the morning we were scheduled to being demolition he had still not sent me a contract. i called him that morning and said that his guys could not enter my unit or being construction until I received a contract, he would not send it to me, so I could not hire him. there was something fishy going on with Sam from the start, I do not know why he would not send me a contract. feel like I would have been setup for some bad dealings down the road without a signed and legally binding contract. Sam was also very hard to deal with, it would take days for him to return my phone calls (sometimes over a week to return a phone call). he does not email or text at all, has to be over the phone. he also has a short fuse for any questions I would ask of him. it was my first time doing remodeling, so I naturally had questions and
