Creative Home Remodeling did an outstanding job in remodeling one of my bathrooms. The work included complete demolition, new tile, new custom vanity, new fixtures and plumbing for my shower, electrical, painting and every little detail to complete the project. My main contact person at Creative was Kris who was always responsive when I had any questions. The project was completed on time and the quality of the work was excellent. The cost of the project was significantly lower than other bids I received. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went well- I appreciate professional services overseeing throughout the entire project, from start to finish by Mr. moshe and kris. I highly recommend for my family and my friends.

Kris did an excellent job facilitating the job with our apartment. We are on the East coast and had to do this long distance through our tenant.

The project manager assigned to our project (also our initial contact with the company and the person with whom we signed the contract) was very friendly, but ultimately a better salesman than a project manager. The project commenced on 09/06/17. We were told that the project would most likely require “3-4 weeks” of work, but the contract allowed for contingencies and provided a completion date of 10/27/17. With all fairness to the company, there were some delays at the onset of the project associated with engineering (an outside firm) and city inspection schedules. However, these were fully and completely resolved by mid-late November, and the project was not completed until 01/04/18. The demolition phase of the project was completed on schedule and without any major complications (although we were frustrated that the prepping and draping of the house was not completed to the level promised in the initial sales visit). We were told that all areas involved with construction would be sealed floor-to-ceiling with zippered plastic and that crews would clean up after themselves daily. In reality, the floor surfaces were covered and some plastic draping was used (although much of our existing cabinetry and the remainder of our house was left uncovered and we are still working to rid the corners of our storage cabinets of plaster dust). The crews did clean up after their major tools and anything sharp or hazardous on a daily basis, but there was dirt, sawdust, and plaster fragments in our home for months and construction debris in our driveway for 1-2 weeks at a time. The construction phase of the project started to highlight a pattern of miscommunication between the project manager, the homeowners, and the crew. The project manager, although easy to get in touch with (he always responded to text messaging or phone calls), rarely made any initial contact to update us on concerns or issues. One of the more significant examples of this was the ceiling beam placement. The original plans indicated that the beam would be flush with the ceiling. The project manager placed the beam, secured it, and only informed us when we expressed concern about the installation that the beam would actually be 1-2 inches lower than the rest of the ceiling (we were not at all pleased with this, but faced with the cost of reordering the beam, we chose to leave it in place because it was structurally sound and not worth thousands of dollars to replace). The recessed lighting was installed early in the project and looked very nice (ultimately one of the features of the project we were very pleased with), but we noticed instantly that two of the rooms that would have dimmer switches (not yet installed) never turned fully “off” with the standard switches. We expressed concern about this on 09/14/17 and were told that this issue would resolve itself when the new switches were placed. The dimmer switches were ultimately placed in late December (after the interior painting was completed) and the issue remained. The issue was ultimately repaired to our satisfaction, but because the project manager did not acknowledge or address our concerns in September, it became the project delay that cancelled our family Christmas celebration due to 3 additional days of electrical, paint, and plaster work. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the delays at the end of the project was the impact of miscommunication. Because of concerns about damage to our home and existing furniture and appliances during construction, we firmly requested additional oversight by the project manager and asked for him to provide a daily update of work that would be performed the following day. We hoped that this would help avoid the need for “re-work” to correct problems (the structural work was finalized at this point, but we were concerned about finishing details and had already seen delays with having to “fix” paint and tile work that had already been “completed”). The response to this request was to largely avoid communicating with us until we reached out with problems or concerns. These delays were compounded by changes in staffing throughout the project. The construction foreman and many of the crew were replaced midway through the project, and the replacement foreman tended to refer to problems as sequelae of the prior foreman and crew. This behavior struck us as particularly unprofessional, because all of the crews worked for the same contracting firm. Though most of the concerns were fully addressed prior to project completion, the most significant of these was avoided. We noticed after placement of the baseboards that there appeared to be a discrepancy in width between the existing walls and the newly-plastered walls. The walls were all flush when “uncovered” and structurally sound, but the plaster and drywall work appeared to have been lacking. This was not readily apparent until paint and baseboards were applied, and the problem was left uncorrected. The pricing on the original project was very competitive and the company did provide credit for a change-in-scope (one of the doorways was not enlarged as originally planned and the contractor gave us credit for the beam), but because of the lack of attention to details it will be necessary for us to hire additional painters to complete finishing touches. We repeatedly requested further touch-ups on paint and plaster work in many areas. Though the project manager did address most of these (often by sending only one person at a time), many were written off as being “the best we can do.” Among these were the plaster work pictured near the doorframe, the sloppy paint work near the ceilings, and the grout work along floor tiles chipped during construction. This was greatly disappointing to us because a significant portion of the initial sales pitch by the project manager was spent describing how the strong point of this company was “unrelenting attention to the finest of details.” Ultimately, we are providing a letter grade of “C” because we feel that while the structural work was completed to our satisfaction (as was the installation of lights), the paint/plaster/tile work was lacking and the functional loss of our home for months of delays was not worth the savings quoted in the original contract. We struggled with communication issues with the company (we had difficulty getting specific updates from the project manager despite his vague [albeit timely] response to our inquiries and two requests to the owner for calls back went unanswered). We also spent hours of every day in December reviewing and documenting construction work and associated concerns such that we felt we had been assigned a sort of “project manager” role ourselves. The best example of this is the request by the project manager that we put post-it notes next to all areas in the house that needed touch-up work. We were happy to comply with this request, but it is unfortunate that the project manager was not able to identify areas in serious need of further touch-ups without enlisting us (the homeowners). We are pleased to have a fully permitted remodel complete, but given the significant delays and tremendous personal investment in time to ensure that the most basic of finishing touches was complete, we would not hire this contractor again.

It went better than expected! When my parents decided that the time had come to update their outdated kitchen and bathroom, I began looking for the right company to do the work. There were so many of them that I wondered how I would ever pick one. Then I looked on Angie's List and was very quickly was able to find Creative Home, due to their very high ratings. I read the reviews, looked at the pictures and decided to call. Max Kikos, the Project Manager, came the next day and spent a long while with us discussing the costs, the process, and even the problems we could run into along the way. In other words, he laid it all out on the table, so that there would be no surprises. His thoroughness and professionalism really impressed us, so we decided to give them a try. And we have not regretted it. Max was with us every step of the way, keeping us informed of what was going to happen each day, and who would be involved. And he was true to his word, making sure that things got done when he said they would. And he was a joy to work with. We were also very impressed with his team of workers. All of them, especially Maxim, were very knowledgeable and thorough, and were very quick to deal with any issues we might have had. In the end, there was nothing to complain about and the rooms turned out far better than we had anticipated. We are very satisfied customers and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a professional company to come into their home and do a great job!

Great! Max, the foreman, kept me up to date about what the next steps were, who would be coming, and what they would do. We had a delay in getting a sliding glass door from the manufacturer, and Max kept me in the loop about what was going on. I also decided to add more insulation to the front part of the house, and they were able to accommodate that for a fair price as well.

My wife and I are satisfied with the project. The quality of the work was excellent and the overall process went very well. I plan to use this company to convert my existing garage into a guest house.

It went smoothly. Kris was our point man and he always told me who/what to expect each day. Communicated well! We did not use a designer on this project. Kris was able to do a digital floor plan that we worked on together until it was what we wanted. Be very thourough in the beginning to prevent surprises later! The workers were pleasant, capable and always cleaned up well each day. David, the owner was responsive to our needs. We had an issue with the size of a closet and David did what was necessary to make it right. The project turned out beautifully!

Creative Home Remodeling provided a cost-effective bid. Their work was quality. They met their projected timelines and, in fact, finished the job before the agreed upon completion date: this was a first for me in terms of home improvements! Company representative Max Klimos was readily available, checked in regularly by phone and in person, and was very responsive.

We just finished Remodeling our kitchen With Creative Home Remodeling Group and we are so Happy With This Company. Kris from Creative was the one we signed the Contract with and the one that supervised all of the project. He did an excellent job ,He gave us the perfect design and great supervision on the job. During the remodeling Kris was at our house almost every day to manage his guys. Our house was cleaned every Day and the timing was great. A Very Professional Company I really recommend them and will work with them in the future thank you Kris and Creative Home Remodeling.

They should never ever, ever, ever, ever use creative home remodeling. Never ever, ever, ever. They billed 19 months for a kitchen remodel. Never, ever, ever. They say they're going to come. I paged somebody over 10 times to be there on a Wednesday. Nobody ever shows up. It's been going on, and it will be two years in February. I think his name was David. He took my $840 kitchen faucet and said that I never had one, and he wanted to replace it with a hundred dollar one from another store. It took me eight months to get it back from him something he said that he didn't have. Then, he gave it to me all scratched up and he didn't buy me another one for the finish in the kitchen that he did. He said I had to buy my own. He left for over three months. He left hot wires in my cabinets. I had three and half-year-old twin girls and a five-year-old. They overcharged us because he paid them as each thing got redone. I have to cracked tiles in my kitchen that has cracked two times already; I had to replace it. They kept after my 91-year-old mother for payment, so she overpaid them by $2,000 and they never finished the job. I've been told to go you know what myself. I have text messages as proof; I saved all of them. They should be out of business. They put in an exhaust fan for my island upside down for my stove top and backward. They didn't want to replace, and they did replace the cabinetry that they put in after all that cutting and sawing. Two small doors kept falling off. The list goes on and, on and, on and, on. If they painted, they didn't bother to prime and just threw it across the wall.

It went very well. The workers who came to do the job were punctual, very professional, courteous, fast and did a very good job. Kris, the manager, kept up with communications, was very cordial, punctual and honest when discussing all the possibilities. The job was not free, but was not extremely expensive and well done.

We just finished a couple of projects with Creative home remodeling, and we are super excited. We remodeled out kitchen that was super old, and added modern look to it. They took off my entire kitchen and built in a new kitchen design. Kris helped us choose the cabinets, and backsplash we trusted his taste. He also remodeled our master bathroom, and for that he also helped us pick all the tile and shower heads. Then we added flooring to the entire house to match our new kitchen and bathroom. Our house is like brand new even though we still have a couple more projects that we would like to get done with Creative home. Highly recommended company!

We just finished our kitchen remodeling project with Creative home remodeling, and we couldn't be more happier. We had our old kitchen torn down and redone it from the beginning. Our kitchen was old, and we wanted it to be more modern looking. We had a meeting with David and he had some great ideas for our new kitchen. We now got our modern kitchen with a beautiful backsplash and new appliances, and we love it! The process was so smooth, and done right! Thank you David and creative home team.

We found Creative Home Remodeling Group by looking on Angie's list for a contractor to build a guest house out back. We also needed someone to redo the shower in our bathroom in the main house first. Due to the fact it was built in 1936 we found plumbing problems so decided to tear out the tub and shower and put in it"s place a large glass enclosed shower. Our shower turned out lovely and the tile work looks great. David was very helpful with suggestions about the bathroom layout. He is wonderful to work with and always available. His crew is very nice also. Love our new shower and look forward to continue working with him and crew on the guesthouse.

I moved out of the area to a new house and was dreading trying to find a contractor who is experienced, honest and reliable. I saw an ad for Creative Home Remodeling Group and met with David. He was prompt and checked all of the requirements I wanted. He and his team were able to turn my idea of a patio enclosure into a nice functional space. David kept us updated throughout the process and always answered my questions. The work was finished on schedule and looks great. What really set David and CHRG apart from others is that he added a small project we discussed without delay or extra charge. All in all, his team did good work and didn't go over my budget. I will definitely use the team at CHRG in the future.

I just done my Garage convert with creative home remodeling. I had three more estimates from different companies, but I am so happy I choose Kris and his team. They were super professional, I had a specific time that I needed done by and they delivered it in the exact time. We converted our garage and did kitchen aid, bathroom and new floors. Kris had a great taste on helping us pick all the tile and the for the bathroom and the back splash as well as the floors to match everything. They did an awesome work delivered it in the time we needed, their team was so clean and did a clean job. Thank you Creative Home for an awesome experience.

The work was done in a timely fashion and in the most professional manner. The crew was very pleasant to have around in my home for the two month they had to work. The owner of the company Mr. David Eliyahoo was checking on the progress of the construction on a daylee bases. I will highly recommend this company and will hire them for any other job I will have in the future.

There were definitely a few hiccups and miscommunications along the way - but I think this would happen with any contractor - the reason I still give them 5 stars is that at the end of the day, it was their priority to make us happy, and that we are! The name of their company could not be more perfect. They are indeed creative and that is why we chose them. In the beginning of the process, Danny and Nir came over to give us a quote and take measurements for a sketch. They were the only contractors out of the three that we interviewed that suggested we add drop lights, change the shape of the island, and make better use of our pantry space. Throughout the process, they were very responsive and got things done QUICK. I also appreciated that during the demo-phase, they built a wooden barrier so that no dust would escape - this was especially nice since we had a newborn at the time. All of the contractors were very professional and they had a port-o-potty outside so they didn't have to use our bathroom. Overall, we are VERY happy with our kitchen and would definitely go with them for our next big project. They were the only contractors out of the three that we interviewed that suggested we add drop lights, change the shape of the island, and make better use of our pantry space. We also hired them to do a full master bathroom demo and remodel. We got rid of a large tub and instead added a big shower with a window. Finally, we used them to convert an unfinished basement to a home theatre which we absolutely love! From the initial process through the very end of each project, they were professional and made sure that we were happy customers. There were definitely a few hiccups and miscommunications along the way - but I think this would happen with any contractor - the reason I still give them 5 stars is that at the end of the day, it was their priority to make us happy, and that we are! Fantastic! Nothing but praise and appreciation for this company and the supervising designer Roy Peer! We had Creative Home Remodeling in to remodel our kitchen in August of 2016 and was so pleased, we brought them back in for our master bath in February of this year, which we love. We shopped around and received many bids before selecting Creative Home and are so very pleased we choose them. We felt like we were in "good hands" throughout the entire process on both jobs!
