I'm glad they highly recommend semi-gloss on water based stain finish. it looks great. not as glossy as oil based finish. I was worried because I read online, many sites recommend Matte finish. But water based finish is naturally less glossy. so semi-glossy is ok. They refinished my floor in 2 days. all looked new. But if you have similar project, give it a few weeks for the smell to go away. They really really smell after even a few weeks. maybe not even healthy. But this is the nature of this project I guess...

Home owners beware! I hired Ariel Builders to install a floor with a date certain that to be completed. They took my deposit didn't do the job, couldn't do the job in the time frame needed, agreed to refund my nearly $400 deposit and months later they are still paying games saying that they mailed the check, will mail another one. Very unprofessional. Months have passed prior to writing this review. Still haven't received my deposit back. Some will say anything to get the job, including, promising timelines they won't deliver. Very disappointed! Job done by by another company for less.

We were impressed with the selection of samples offered for our review. The installers finished in record time and asked us our opinion no less than three times as their work progressed. The price was right and the final result was excellent.

Ariel Builders did a great job.

I have to finish the job as they didn't cover all of the nail holes on the call back was told that wasn't part of the project. Also a few other things I feel should have been done that were left with an unfinished look. The flooring install was great and I love it.

Good quality flooring. 2 days to complete 1,250 square foot condo. Included padding at no cost. Finished with high quality molding.

A complete farce from the beginning. My job was a small bedroom installing wood flooring to match existing. I was promised something, the sample was perfect, yet the order was placed and since it was a "new batch" since it was from last year it was not the same. Tony was not even here when it came in to inspect nor was he here during the install and he did not ever come to the job until after it was messed up and I complained. Never heard from him again. Also his guys shattered a Venician Mirror and I was never offered any type of compensation to replace.

At this time not happy,but I giving Ariel Builders the opportunity to correct a few issues ASAP per Mark.I just hope I don't have to wait another 31/2 week.As the job on the flooring sets and drays more issues are showing,my biggest disappointment is my wood flooring has very little shine, they should of used a product call Laca for high gloss, so here I am since May 5th the date when I confirmed my first appointment with Ariel (Mark) with out furniture in my living room to today 6/12 2014 waiting for the issue to be fixed. (I sure hope ASAP is soon, hopefully different workers too.)

Tony's guys did a great job. On time starting and finishing. VERY happy with the job. They installed 1200sqft of Laminate Wood throughout the house. Would I use them again... Yes in a heart beat..

Tony was always in contact with me. He wasn't pushy about starting the project of installing my laminated floor throuhout the house. When I was ready we met to go over the details and confirm the product of choice. Once the supplies were in he let me know to set up a date. He told me the project would take 2 to 3 days, his workers finished it in a day. I was surprised and they did a great job. I definately would recommend them.

They did an installation of a new floor and removal of the old floor in a time period of 1 day total. They were fast, efficient, and worked together as a team. I was very satisfied. One big asset they have working for them is Mary. She covers everything with you and gently tries to convince you why you should work with Ariel Builders who goes out of their way to be competitive!! I will use again.

Plan to use them soon to refinish other floors! Love my new floors

The owner did a great job of planning a beautiful, quality, wood-laminate floor that fell within my cost constraints (his quote was almost 1/2 that of Home Depot,with higher mm product). The installer worked diligently and competently and was clearly experienced at what he was doing. The company also installed beautiful, high-end moldings to complete the look, all within the reasonable cost structure quoted. I called Mary and Mark at Ariel Builders 10 months earlier to refinish our oak floors, Mark came out, looked it over, explained the process, and gave us a great price. Unfortunately, we were delayed 10 mos. in doing the work, but Mark and Mary at Ariel Builders hung in there with us, we just had the work done..at the same price quoted 10 months earlier. That is class. The floors are 60 year old red oak and finished to show the grain, with a smooth satin finish. The crew were respectful, clean up was great,and the job was done on time. We would hire them again for any job, any day!

Ariel makes deals and promises and offers the low bid, gets the contract, but has some difficulty performing. Their subcontractor who actually did the work installed a great floor.
