Steve's company made and installed 10 solar screens on our home. The screens are of great quality and fit our windows perfectly. We had problems with the caulking being applied too thick around the screws holding the screens on window frames so that when the screen was removed, the stucco was pulled off the house and holes were left in the area around the screw holes. I contacted Steves office number twice and set an appt for them to come out to give us an estimate on the window/screen washing and to check the reported problem with the caulking. The young man who came out looked at the screens on the windows and checked the application of the caulking. He took pictures of the one screen we had removed which still had the caulking on its framing and he took pictures of the areas where the stucco had been pulled off the house when the screens were removed. He said that, yes, he could see where there was a problem and he would report it to Steve and that Steve would get back to us. I've never heard from Steve nor from any other employee of Steve's Mobile Screens regarding this. The young man also gave us a estimated cost to wash the windows/screens but it was $80 more than his stated cost of $10 per window/screen. When I questioned that he said it was because we had some large windows that would take longer to clean. Well, then we have eight very small windows that wouldn't take hardly any time to clean. The cost for the window cleaning was much too high. We're pretty disappointed after spending $1400.00 on the screens that there was no follow-up by this company regarding our notification to them of the problem.

Steve's mobile was excellent and very professional. I love my storm door and have many compliments from neighbors. I would highly recommend them!!!!!

This was the second time we used Steve's Sunscreens. The first time we had them come out and replace a custom size screen door. We've got a 100 lb dog and needed something a bit more durable - Wes recommended a solar screen. We liked the price, and he came back within about 2 weeks. The screen door was holding up so well that we decided to get them back out to replace the window screens on the sunny side of our house with solar screens. We ended up getting 11 solar screens, and a year on we've no regrets. Hard to say for sure but we think it keeps the temperature down in the house in the summer. Additionally, a number of the old flimsy screens from our homebuilder were damaged and I initially thought that I wanted them all replaced with new regular screens. Wes talked us out of it to save us money - he helped us reuse some of the better condition screens being replaced by solar screens (by mixing and matching the different sizes across the house) - so we ended up only buying one. All screens were ready and installed within about 3 weeks. We appreciated his honesty and his professionalism - other tradesman would have just sold us screens for the whole house!

Steve did an excellent job. He was very thorough and he very thoroughly explained what he was doing. He was methodical but a little slow and that was okay. I would rather have him be a little slow and do it right. The guys that we had come out several years ago just looked through it. There were a couple of dings in the house that they left in the stucco and whatever but this guy was slower. It took him longer to do it, like a day and a half, but he did not make any mistakes. There were no dings in our stucco so slow is a good thing. There is nothing that I disliked about his work. The sunscreens matched. We have the dual pane aluminum windows and he made sure that the outside screen was aligned with the window pane. It is a little bit really sunny and I would have never even thought about that until after he was done and I went, "Well, that is awesome." I will absolutely use him again in the future.
