Merry Maids of Stockton

They were horrible. They were terrible people. They would argue with you. I would never advise anybody to have them. We would not recommend them at all. They were nasty and argumentative. Very few were good. They didn't clean well. They had a policy that they get on their knees to clean the floors, and we have hardwood floors all around our house. They would get down on their knees in the bathroom, and they would just do the middle of the floors, they didn't do the sides. I said to one girl that we paid them to do all the floor not just the middle. They were cleaning the glass door coming in the kitchen, and there were baby smears on it, and I thought they would do it. I was sitting there and I saw that she didn't clean the bottom, and they came back to get something, and I told her, she said she did it, so I showed. There was a little tiny table on a pedestal, and I am 72 years old and I can lift that, and I told the girl to move it and vacuum under it, she said she can't lift heavy furniture. They wouldn't even lift a wire rack in the kitchen.

They did an okay job. I was expecting 1 or 2 people but they had 4 come out. They told me it should not take more than 4 hours. It ended up taking longer than 4 hours and they wanted to charge extra for that. I declined additional work and will look for someone else to clean in the future.
