 + -1 moreEXCELLENT! We are new to the Morada area and didn't know much about older trees. Evergreen was recommended to us via a friend and were very pleased. We called one other company for a comparison and Evergreen was more reasonable. The additional vote of confidence for this company came when an arborist for PGE came by to check out our other trees situated near power lines, commented he was impressed by the tree trimming done. He said many companies cut too much or cut incorrectly, but the job we had done was very good! The crew was on time, polite and cleaned everything up perfectly afterwards. We will definitely use Evergreen in the future.
Description of Work: Removed a HUGE ash tree overhanging the pool in our backyard and ground the stump. We later contacted Evergreen again and had them come back and trim our huge, 100+ year old oak tree as well as pruning other maples.

 + -1 moreHe recommended cutting back existing large limbs severely; I was concerned about the possibility of some parts of the tree dying from such a severe pruning; he felt this the only way to ensure mistletoe would be eradicated and cited his experience with other similar situations and trees. He was very professional and experienced, and may ultimately be correct about the mistletoe. Because this large tree is the center focal point of the backyard, I was not willing to take chance to have tree die or take years to return to full foliage with such a severe cut back. I had the tree trimmed significantly, but not severely, by another company that also examined tree. Because of professionalism, I would be willing to contact this company again for estimate if I need exacting work done on tree.
Description of Work: Provided estimate to remove mistletoe from very large, old black walnut tree in back yard of a single family residence. Estimate seemed high at the time. approx. $2000.
