Description of Work: The first time they spray the cost is 140.00, and after that it is 90.00 every two months. The young man was very polite and went over and above what he was suppose to do. He was making sure the ants weren't going to come back, but you can call them anytime you see spiders and ants, or anything else he sprayed for or set traps for. There is no limit on how many times you can call them back:)

Description of Work: A 2-yr warranty to abate pigeons and bats. It took over a year to come near to abate bat problem by using a different method. I still have a bat problem; and where Clark treated them with the new method (spray foam), Clark did a messy job dropping spray foam all over my dog run and garden areas. The old method of pushing hard foam has long since blown away with the Santa Ana winds. Clark outright refused to deal with the problem where the bat rub marks are on the other side of the house unless I paid more money to them. The pigeon problem still exists as well, and in one area they actually entrapped a pigeon with chicken wire under the rafters. I asked Clark to do something about it, but they ignored me. Poor thing died and its corpse rots right over my front door. Very sad to know. One day I will replace the roof and liberate the pigeon corpse.

Offered estimate for tear-down and rebuild work in the affected bathroom. Had contractors inspect area and negotiate terms of completion.

Description of Work: I had arranged with the Stockton, CA office for routine pest control service to my residential property. I was given an appointment date and a time window by a very courteous representative from their home office. Mike Hall was my designated technician, and he called right before arriving on time. Initially Mike listened to my concerns, and then explained in detail what he felt I needed, how he would apply the pest control, and the pricing. Initial consultations and applications are more expensive industry wide, and after a 33% discount for setting up future payments with automatic debit the initial cost was $100.00. My services were basic and my pest control needs were average, and with previous research I was priced in the normal lower range for what I needed. Future visits will average $45.00 to $55.00 monthly, and paid every two months upon each visit. I was concerned about a toxic product application and Mike explained in detail about the amount of product needed to eradicate bugs which is minuscule compared to the amount of the same product that would ever harm people. It was explained so logically that because of stringent laws for the state of California, and the research and development evolution of pest control products that there is little concern someone should associate to home pest control applied by professionals. In my own research I read there is more harm outside the home in open air venues and/or agricultural areas than would ever be of harm when applied in home pest control. The product applied to my home had a faint odor when applied and it was explained that when it dries clear, and powder-less it won't be seen and there won't be an odor. Mike was exactly right again! It was if he applied water as the product with no sign that I could see after two hours. I've never seen the product anywhere in the the house since it was applied. I was told I might see a few drunk bugs after the application, but soon I wouldn't see bugs again and that's how it worked out in the end. Mike explained how bugs congregate, and where they hide which was not what I had imagined, very informative. I asked Mike why he wasn't using a mask, and he said he didn't feel the product in his professional opinion posed a harm. Mike also sprayed seven hornet nests on my property, I didn't have to ask, and it was included in the cost. Mike explained future service and reminders and he was on his way to his next appointment. The peace of mind of having a cleaned home is well worth any cost in my mind. I'm sticking with Clark as they exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Description of Work: On the phone, the lady from Stockton's Clark Pest Control Office quoting me $100-125 initial service, $85 every two month with a 1 year sign up. I told the lady I had a two story house and a yellow jacket problem over my garage. No problem she would send someone between 1-3. A person in the early 20s shows up and was on time but not prepared to examine my property. He brought no ladder. I explain I have a 24 foot ladder in the garage, Then he says it is against company policy to use a non-company ladder. He insisted on coming through the house to go out a bedroom window. We had to push out a window screen which is now bent and needs to be replaced, to show him a yellow jacket nest over the garage which is exactly what I told the lady on the phone I had in the first place. He seemed to be trying to get entrance into my home for some reason I don't understand. I am now very concerned that they sent someone unprepapred and unprofesional to my home. I am more than a little worried. He quotes me the new price of $150 a month and $102 every 2 months. Needless to say I asked him to leave and will never do business with Clark Pest Control. I was very disappointed in the bait and switch pricing, the unprepared nature of the Clark Pest Control employee, and the overall experience. Stay away from these guys.
