+ -1 moreThe worst experience ever. Contractor thought he knew it all. But proved to know very little about this type of job. Incredibly, he improvised and then then claimed, against overwhelming evidence to the contrary that it was acceptable.
Description of Work: Contractor claimed experience in the specific concrete job requested. Contractor Ignored plans and instructions. Refused to sign a contract, started the job without permission, then demanded payment. The job did not meet applicable codes and laws. I refused to pay. Job was not salvageable and I was forced to demo and start over at a cost of over $6000. Contractor had initially admitted mistake and promised to fix but reneged on his promise and has threatened to file a mechanic's lien. I have filed a complaint with contractors licensing board.

+ 0 moreBernardo Concrete gave me and my wife a proposal to install a concrete pad at our home for our shed in the back yard. The shed was on grass and Bernardo's men where kind enough to move the shed for us. Not only did they get the concrete pad poured down but they also got a buckled concrete sidewalk in our front yard fixed while they where there for tiny bit more. They were very professional and where fully licensed & insured that's very important to us. We had initially had called another contractor who was not so we were glad that we didn't lose more time with this one. Our overall experience was very pleasant and we would highly recommend Bernardo Concrete to anyone in search of a quality concrete contractor that won?t break the bank. James & Julie
