WOODWORTH CUSTOM HARDWOOD FLOORING

Jeremy Woodworth was very willing to work with me as I was concerned about the environmental impact of my choices, and helped me to select the bamboo flooring, Eastern Elegance, from a distributor, Golden State Flooring, that he works with. He used a more environmentally friendly moisture barrier and adhesive at my request, which were more difficult to work with than his usual materials. I was informed of the schedule and the daily requirements way ahead of time, so there were no surprises. The night that the moisture barrier was curing, we couldn't access our bedroom, and had to sleep in the guest room, but we were forewarned! His crew consisted of his 2 younger brothers and a friend, Matt. All of them worked hard and were respectful of my property. They cleaned up every day by vacuuming all the grit and sand. Before the project started, a crack in our concrete slab had to be fixed, and Jeremy recommended Jason Schrum, who did an extremely professional job in one weekend. The new flooring looks great. Jeremy takes great pride in doing a good job, and was also willing to do extra unrelated small projects at a very reasonable cost. (He and crew hid the speaker wires for our surround sound system in the walls and ceiling, before the painters came and mounted the speakers on ceiling mounts after the painters were gone.) He provided me with felt pads /rubber feet for all the furniture to protect the new floor. My husband and I were both extremely pleased at the quality of the work, and the attitude of the people doing it.

In one word: perfect. The floors are beautiful, 5" random length planks of African Sapelle (related to mahogany) which beautifully show my oriental rugs in the Living Room and antique Navajo rugs in my Master Bedroom. Totally professional. Always on time. Manufacturer sent wrong wood size and delayed us a day, but he notified me and corrected it. It is wonderful to see true old-fashioned skilled craftsmanship at work in this generation. He is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work.
