Seth was a pleasure to have in our home. He thought it would take two days but he got it done in one day. He made sure he cut as few holes as possible in the walls. He came back a week later to reinstall the toilet. He did a great job and I will definitely call him again if I need a plumber.

I have worked with Seth/Clearwater Drain Services before. He is my "go to" plumber now!! Our 10 year old water heater sprung a leak and I called Seth to set an appt. He was on a big job and was trying to time our appt so we did a bit of trouble shooting over the phone. We both agreed that the water heater needed to be replaced. He immediately told me about his water heater special on Angie's List, that was purchased and the water heater was installed shortly after. We ended up getting a better water heater with a higher "R" value. This company has always been prompt, courteous, professional and clean in all the work that they have done for me. ex: Drain clearing, gas line repairs, toilet wax ring replacement, misc plumbing preventative maint, re-position/tighten bathroom sinks after previous contractor could not complete and water heater replacement.

I did not find Seth on Angie's list. He was referred to me and I am so glad he was. I've used several plumbers in my nearly 50 years of owning a home and Seth is a real find. I consider him "my" plumber. His pricing is very reasonable and his work is excellent. He is professional, prompt, courteous and efficient. I recommend him highly.

Seth returned my initial phone call promptly and came the next day to estimate the job. That afternoon he gave me a few options and a quote for the repairs. The quote was a little higher than I had hoped but in the range of other quotes and Seth's manner and promptness convinced me to go with him. I'm glad I did. He arrived early on the day we scheduled and got to work. It was difficult to drain my old water heater because mineral deposits were occluding the drain valve. Once that completed he quickly installed the new heater and expansion tank. I needed a drain pan installed and his careful work on the hole through the stucco was much cleaner than what a different plumber did with a neighbor's house. Then he rebuilt the drain under my kitchen sink replacing a poorly constructed compression-fit metal system that had leaked more than once with correctly sized PVC. Finally repaired the bathroom sink faucet and hose bib. Seth's work was fast and clean. He is personable and professional and does precise, clean work. I'll call him again if I need plumbing service. Highly recommended.

Seth lived up to all the reviews we have read (all 5 star ratings on Angie's List and Yelp based on approximately 70 reviews). He is punctual, honest, neat, courteous, professional, fair priced, efficient and extremely knowledgeable of his trade. Can't say enough good things about him. He fixed our leak and we haven't had any problems since. He is returning in a few days to fix our tankless hot water heaters.

Seth took great care on what surely was a small job for him, but of great importance to me. He made the necessary repairs and replaced parts with excellent results. He was flexible on schedulling an early morning appointment, arrived on time, and completed the repairs in good time, all the while being pleasant and professional. He was a pleasure to deal with.

We had a plumbing issue that we could not fixed. Contacted Clearwater Drain Service and set up an appointment. The day of contacted to confirm time and was offered an early time. Was unable to make that time so kept original one. Once Seth arrived was shown the issue and went straight to work. He as unable to get to the issue with one snake so brought in the larger one and within minutes had the mainline cleared. The plumbing seems to be working more clearly and quickly than it has since the house was purchased. He also did a quick but through flush of our tankless water heater. Price was more than competitive than others I have dealt with in the past. Highly recommend.

On Saturday night (2am) I noticed a puddle of water in our garage, right in front of our water heater. I checked around and noticed the water pan was full and it was leaking. The water heater was capoots! We called Clearwater Drain Service the next day (Sunday) and Seth (owner) answered immediately. He told us if we waited until the next day (Monday), it would be a cheaper service call, so we agreed we wait one day because what person doesn't wanna save money. We called the next day and he showed up a few hours later. He looked at our 13 year old water heater and said it was done....I was in complete agreement(we were surprised it lasted that long). He asked how I heard about him, I told him Angie's List and he said he had a deal on there that he could offer me. I said great....when can we get it installed? He said he could install it right now. I thought I was gonna jump in his arms and give him a great big hug (hot water is under appreciated). 2 hours later, after everything was installed....hot water was once again flowing through this house! Thank you Seth and I appreciate any company trying to save ME money!!!

He did great work, had him come back and change my h20 pressure valve coming into the condo.

1st off wow!!!!! Seth showed up a few minutes early to the appointment. Once i showed him the problem he got right to work and worked very hard to not waste mine or his time . Did a very professional job. Left my bathroom cleaner then when i came in. I have to say i called around to a few different places they wanted way way way more money. I will be Recommending him to everyone i know for plumbing needs. And will be using him in the future for all my plumbing needs. If you need a plumber look no further here he is.

Purchased $149 for 2 hours of plumbing labor. Owner, Seth Flanery, called for appt. and showed promptly on time. Took about 50 minutes to do both jobs (removed portion of shower arm broken off in wall, then replaced with new arm; also replaced trap under bathroom sink that was slow to drain). Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Even though I didn't contact Clearwater until the very end of the work day, Seth came over as soon as possible that evening and thus helped prevent further drywall damage. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and did a great job! Seth took a lot of time to show us the problem spots, answer questions, and even cleaned up when he was done. I would feel very comfortable calling Clearwater for future issues!

He was unable to schedule the work for a few weeks and I needed the work done immediately. I will not be using the deal.

I have hired Seth twice for a handful of repairs. Very quick to respond and helpful. Highly recommended.

Seth showed up exactly on time, performed the services in approximately 4 hours, was extremely professional, courteous and efficient. He had to cut out into both the tub and shower to replace the valves in order to install the new bath/shower fixtures, as the old ones were the knob-type and no longer compatible with the newer lever types. He also tested the house regulator and found that it failed house psi, recommending that we have it replaced, and gave us a quote. I'm sure he's right that it needs to be replaced as it's probably very old. We intend to have him come back out soon to perform that service as well. I should also note that the price included all parts and labor. He charged us what he had quoted us, and then honored the Angie's List coupon as well, so the final price was adjusted appropriately. We will definitely use him again.

Very fast and professional services. Received the 2 hour service special for $149, he took care of everything for us, including the stopped up ice maker. Can't go wrong with that special. Thank you (p.s. I tried to get my husband for two weeks to call someone professional after he was determined to repair, next time we will just call the professional at Clearwater Drain Service!) I have ice in my drinks now and no water to mop up on the floor......

WOW! I can't overemphasize what a relief it is to have Clear Water Drain Service!! My home has had reduced hot water flow for the past couple of months. I knew genesis of the problem was an internally corroding hot water heater. Per my initial posted review Seth replaced the hot water heater. I had hoped, but really not expected, eliminating the cause of the water restrictions might solve the whole issue. I wasn't surprised that the new hot water heater didn't solve all problems. I called Seth and set an appointment for two days later. Seth arrived on the minute scheduled and set about examining the issue. I thought the issue may be a clogged pipe near the hot water heater but Seth tested and quickly eliminated that theory. Seth determined problem was clogged hot water intake lines at each house fixture. Seth replaced intake lines in both bathrooms. Most impressively was how Seth worked to preserve our kitchen faucet which has value. Seth rigged a wire like device into the faucet, sort of like flossing, and returned the faucet to full operation. In closing, I also cannot overemphasize the value Seth delivers... a huge cost savings over using well advertised San Diego plumbing empires!

I had contacted several plumbers on Angie's List to have a new RO water system installed in our kitchen. Seth was by far the best priced and most personable of anyone. He was straightforward with the estimate and the possibility of additional cost if extra parts were needed. I did need to contact another provider to drill the hole in our granite counters for the spout and once that was squared away, we were good to go. Seth arrived 5 minutes early and got right to work. He encountered some issues due to (sub)contractor mistakes (our home was a flip). They had swapped the hot and cold water routing in the kitchen; no wonder our dishwasher hasn't done the best job! Seth corrected the issue and finished up the RO install. Once finished, he took the time to show me the final steps needed to get the RO system ready for consumption and gave me a full rundown on what to expect in terms of ongoing sounds and water usage. He even took the time to check the water pressure for the house, take a look at a faulty faucet, and explain why we are hearing certain sounds when using our low flow/HE washer, thus easing ongoing concerns we've had due to the subpar workmanship of the flip. Overall, I'm extremely happy with everything that was done and am so pleased that we now have a reliable plumber we can count on in the future. I would recommend Seth and Clearwater Drain Service to anyone without hesitation. For the sake of transparency I will add that I did purchase the deal that was offered via Clearwater Drain Service's Angie's List page of $149 for 2 hours of labor, which was the estimated amount of time the install was expected to take. It took exactly 2 hours for the install and inspection/clearing up of the aforementioned issues. An extra part was needed to complete the install, as was advised might be the case, to the tune of $25. Certainly money well spent!

Holy crap Angie's List members - A professional plumber who is skilled, prompt, courteous and charges fair prices. Somebody pinch me... I must be dreaming! Some background. My home gas water heater was rusting inside and needed replacement. Prior water heater was Whirlpool brand, manufactured in China and purchased at Home Depot. This time around I wanted a plumber (not handy man) to install a top quality US manufactured (Bradford White or Rheem) water heater. I read both Yelp and Angie's List (AL) reviews looking for a reliable, fairly priced plumber. To me this seemed like searching for an honest politician! The big name plumbing companies promised top notch work yet at sky high prices. I'm so thankful Yelp and AL reviews painted uniformly 5 star reviews of Clearwater Drain Service. Seth returned my voice mail within minutes and provided clear information on his product brands, service and pricing. I scheduled service for 9am on a Tuesday and at 9am Seth was backing into my driveway. Before beginning work he used his smart phone to call up technical diagrams to analyze mistakes made by prior workers and design a more efficient plumbing sequence. Seth also noted my recirculation pump was not programmed efficiently. Upon beginning work it was like watching a surgeon. Seth completed all work within four hours including reprogramming recirc pump and sweeping my garage/driveway. I expected and almost welcomed extra charges as Seth had completed repair work not part of a normal tank replacement. I was shocked that Seth declined to charge extra saying he had completed work in his allotted time. My god, honesty and fair pricing in a plumber! Count me in as a lifetime customer.
