Manny is extremely knowledgeable about awnings and canopies. He's very professional and values his clients. He was very responsive when we had concerns, and he made sure things were done correctly and to our satisfaction. Our large canopy more than doubled our outdoor living space. The curtains add both beauty and great functionality when the sun is beating down from the south. And our added awning with roll down shade on the west provide additional shade and protection from the sun. We absolutely LOVE our awning and canopy. Our initial concerns were that we wanted fire retardant fabric and a secure installation since we get wind in our area. Manny came through on both fronts. Our awning and canopy are not only secure but extremely beautiful. With the fire retardant fabric, we feel better in the event of brush fires. Manny's crew was very courteous, and cleaned up when they were done. Manny really knows his business and he works hard to make sure it shows in the final product. We are extremely happy with our decision in choosing Awning Solutions. I highly recommend them.

My $1200 quote at accent awning on miramar rd was for a flat panel of sunbrella fabric held by powder coated aluminum . With awning solutions it was $3072.54 for the same sized panel and rain gutter. The rain gutter was itemized at around $300 so the bottom line was Manny thought it moral to charge me $2700 vs $1200 for the same exact product. I asked the owner Manny if the 2 1/2 time up charge was related to the fact I lived in Coronado and got no response. Accent awning does not charge with reference to zip code , only square footage of the product because of these exact complaints. I know we live in a free market world and prices are set by the owner so thank god for angies list to help expose and educate folks in the market. Beware of this person. BTW Manny answers to other phone numbers in SD. Acme awning routes to him as well , maybe others.

We took three bids. Awning Solutions had the best price and the quickest turnaround time which was why we chose them. The company owner, Manny personally came out to measure prior to ordering and the awnings were delivered within the time frame quoted. The company is professional, the quality of the product is excellent and the installers were wonderful.

After a phone call to this company, someone called Manny arrived on June 17th as arranged. I had torn and frayed trim on the valance of my awning (15-20 years old) that needed replacement. He said they had a truck with machines inside and could come by and do the work onsite. This sounded great. He also noticed two places in the awning where the seams had come loose, each about 5 to 6 inches long. He said they could rip the whole awning apart if there was any wind when it was out. I told him we didn't put it out when there was wind and sometimes only put it out once or twice a year. Nonetheless, I asked him to give me an estimate on fixing the valance and another estimate on the valance AND the awning seams. He had my email and my phone. About 10 days later I realized I hadn't heard anything, so called. A woman answered and when I wondered why I hadn't been contacted, said that Manny was on the phone and they had been really busy, but she could see that my info was on top of his pile, so it would be soon. Another week or 10 days went by and I called again and Manny answered and told me that he didn't like my attitude in questioning him about replacing the awning. He didn't like my and quot;tone of voice.and quot; I apologized 4 or 5 times during this phone call for my tone of voice, though I hadn't been upset or angry or anything but normal, so I guess he just didn't like my tone of voice as he said. He went on and on, and i apologized further, as I really wanted this work done, and he finally said he would get back to me. Needless to say, I heard no more from Manny and then found another awning place online and called them.

I am most pleased with the work Awning Solutions did on my home. They were courteous and professional when they came to the house to inspect the job site and prepare the original estimate. When the work at my home has done, they cleaned up the site. they left my deck cleaner than it was when they arrive. The awning they installed is beautiful and the workmanship is first rate. I am going to use them again the next time I need a replacement awning.

They gave me a very good price for the awning installation, because he had a job fall through and he told me that if I wanted he could discount the job and recycle the parts for my job. I was very grateful, because he did not need to do that. Everyone who came out to do the work were very nice. They had to go back to the shop a couple of times, because of a tear in the material. I was impressed by that because I probably would not have noticed the tear, but he made sure to provide me with quality awnings.
