I needed to get my piano moved from my parents' in LA to my home in Bay Area. I called 2-3 bay area companies and they quote me about 25%-50% more for the move and they wouldn't be able to deliver it for another 2-4 weeks due to scheduling. Exclusive Piano movers were able to do it within the following week and quoted between $500-700 depending on how many deliveries they had going that week. I ended up paying $500 + $80 for insurance and was very satisfied with their work. They were great coordinating with my parents in LA and delivering to my home on time. My piano arrived without a single scratch.
Description of Work: I had my piano delivered from LA to SF bay area.

The delivery home had outside stairs of pebble and brick. They protected my stairs and walkway the whole way up the house with blankets & lumber so as not to hurt my stairs (i really appreciate that as I love my entryway). They were smooth, quiet, and delivered on time; not a scratch on the piano. They did a great job! Thank you!

I appreciated that I didn't have to go up to San Mateo to be there at the pick up. It was a little weird when they picked up the piano at 9:00 am in San Mateo and then told me they wouldn't show up to deliver it in Mountain View until 4:00 pm. Sadly, as it turns out the truck broke down in the North Bay and I didn't get the piano until the very next day. Fortunately I can work from home so it wasn't a problem. However, I do find it weird that they would pick up a piano in San Mateo and then drive north. Also they didn't offer to remunerate me for the delay. The just charged me the price quoted.

The service was excellent. The movers were careful with the piano, and with our walls and hardwood floors. They arrived in the time frame provided and did the job in 30 minutes (3 movers).
Description of Work: Moved a heavy Baldwin upright piano from a friend's garage into our living room. Their house is about 2 miles from ours. The movers had to go up three steps to get into our living room.

They arrived on time, and had the piano into their moving truck within 15 minutes! The piano arrived on time, as arranged, at our house. Very happy with their efficiency. It's worth noting that, two days prior to this, I'd arranged with another piano moving company to move the piano. They threw in the towel after 60+ minutes of trying with their 3-man team... advising me that they would have to schedule a 4th man. They were unable to get the piano up the stairs in the first house. This is what prompted me to find another moving company. My thought was that a San Francisco based company would have more familiarity/experience dealing with tight spaces and stairs. Given the very fast move out of the first house, this seems to have been a good hunch. Great service, and the movers were very professional and easy to work with.
Description of Work: Using a 3-man team due to the stairs at the initial location, they moved a 49" Upright piano from the basement level of a residential home in Palo Alto, to a single story home in Willow Glen San Jose. The stairs from the basement had a 180 degree turn and tight landing half way up them for added interest.

I moved into a new place and the moving company that I used for all my other belongings said that they could not move the piano, so I called this company. I thought the price for the service was competitive. They are local, family-owned business, which I really liked. They did a very good job and they were very careful with my piano.

They quickly provided the estimate, and we agreed on a 4 hour time-frame on a specific date. While this captive audience for a 1/2 a day is not ideal they showed up within the time indicated and called earlier to be more specific. Once here the two men quickly completed the job within 10 minutes. They knew exactly what to do and were courteous and professional. I was very satisfied with their work.
Description of Work: Needed to have an upright piano moved from one room to the other. Due to short and narrow hallway connecting the two room it could not be done without standing it on end.

These guys are the best. Phone reception was excellent. The three movers showed up promptly and were extremely professional. They were careful and thorough and even helped me orient the piano in the room. I called around and they were about mid-price range for the job. A plus for a job well done.
Description of Work: I traded my upright piano for a baby grand piano. The movers had to take the upright from my home in Menlo Park to the other home in Sunnyvale then bring the baby grand back to my house. No stairs, but some pretty tight doorways!
