MISSION TILE WEST

It has been a long while since I used this store but if I have projects coming up in the future I would certainly go back.

I didn't use them as yet, as work is to be performed in an occupied rental. However, I do expect to use them for the repairs at some point in the future.

project went very well. Found the product I wanted at a great price. The material arrived on time and as promised. So they did there part of th e job exceptionally.

They were very responsive to email or phone calls. We ended up changing our minds on the total area that we wanted to tile after we had already started, and they were great about putting through a rush order for us so that the project wouldn't fall behind. I felt like they were there to help every step of the way.

They had a very large selection of tiles. They were very helpful, and they sat with us and designed our rooms. Their variety of different tiles is 10 times more then what you would find a regular department store. Their prices are high, but you are paying for what you are getting. They don't tell you the price till after you pick out your tile. However, their customer service and design aspects are great. I would recommend them.

they have a large selection, salespeople are knowledgeable but a bit pushy, and the tile is expensive. i would highly recommend doing extensive research elsewhere (take note of the manufacturer, use the internet to look for other dealers) and i'm sure you can find a better price, especially if you can buy directly from the manufacturer.

Friendly/helpful staff who know their stuff. I ended up purchasing tile elsewhere (price was largely a factor), but found the staff and selection to be impressive.

I have purchased tile for both a kitchen remodel and a bath remodel (separate times) at Mission Tile West. They have a huge selection of tiles and the best way to shop is to make an appointment with one of their designers (free!) who will help you find what you are looking for. You CAN go into the store and browse by yourself, but I don’t recommend it because nothing is priced, a lot of the tiles aren’t displayed very well for browsing (because they have so many), and you will get overwhelmed. If you walk in without an appointment and want to wait until a designer is available, it might be a while, especially on Saturdays. The designer I worked with was Jennifer Wharton, and she was amazing. You just do not get customer service like this anymore. She was extremely patient and never got frustrated even when I wanted to change the plan for my bathroom design completely. She was very good at listening to what I was trying to achieve and making suggestions based on that. Although many of their clients are buying thousands of dollars’ worth of tile and installing them in multimillion dollar homes, I never felt that my small project was any less important to Jennifer. I also never felt like I was getting an “upsell” or being shown things that were too expensive. We found tiles for both of my projects that were reasonably priced and beautiful. Jennifer drew a couple of designs for my bathroom tile installation and had good suggestions for grout colors, spacing, etc. She even recommended a tile installer who did an excellent job. In short, I would not dream of shopping for tiles anywhere else. Make an appointment, be honest with your designer about your budget, and bring photos or clippings along if you have them. One thing to keep in mind is that sales are final. That’s always a little frightening when forking over the credit card, but I had no problems with anything I purchased there.

I have gone to Mission Tile three times to find tile for our home projects. We have never been greeted when we came in and even when they are not busy did they offer any assistance or help. Their attitude is not focused on the customer. They have a large selection but have few prices marked on the tiles. I do not want to keep asking what price is each tile I am viewing. I do have a budget and have price restrictions. I have since found responsive tile stores with good selections, good prices, and customer focus.

Mission Tile has an amazing selection of tile from all over the world. The difficult part of going to their showroom is being able to choose from all the tiles available. Too many choices! Their staff is very helpful and they employ some excellent designers who will go to your home on larger jobs to measure and make recommendations. They will also guide you in your tile choices only showing you tile that will work in your application and in your budget. Make sure you make an appointment or they may not have anyone available to help you.

THEY WALKED US THROUGH EACH STEP, FROM INITIAL MEASURING TO ORDERING FROM THE WAREHOUSES AND COORDINATING TIMING AND DELIVERY. THEY EVEN CONTACTED OUR TILESETTER TO HAVE HIM PICK UP OUR ORDER AT THEIR SHOP.
