I have been in contact with the company before to schedule a huge tree property service on my property. I have met both 'Franks'. There is a Frank that is the owner and he has an employee that works for him also named Frank. What I find really compelling is how versed both Franks are with the TRPA regulatory agency and they educated me just how important it would be for me to get my ducks in a row so that TRPA would not come for the attack if I do any work that is not permitted. I had no idea about the ShoreZone TRPA rules and I did exactly what they directed and was able to get a TRPA permit to do very specific ShoreZone pruning and cutting. These guys know the rules and I scheduled an appointment for May next year to complete the project permitted by TRPA. Both Franks helped me protect myself from getting into trouble with TRPA and for that I am thankful. They saved me a lot of pain especially if I were to get into trouble with TRPA. Recently, I had a tree fall down between my house and another. In fact, a large portion of the tree was resting on a few limbs of another tree and was about to fall onto my metal roof and would have caused substantial damaged. I called and texted Frank and they came out immediately and removed the tree. They were so fast and their work was so precise. You would never have know a tree went down or any of the damage that it caused the other trees around it. Great crew and great owner. Thank you frank for saving my tail with regard to TRPA and thank you again for coming out so fast to stop any possible damage to my home from that huge fallen tree.

I only used them once, but they were very good. They did an excellent job. The one particular thing that I like about them is they cleaned everything up. There were a lot of saw dust. These guys go up like monkeys up the tree and cut off the limbs. These trees were really big and tall, but they were leaning way over, and we were afraid that if they had come over in a big wind storm, they would have gone right through my roof. They cleaned it up and they also cut the wood up into rounds and stacked it which was all part of the thing which I thought was very good. A lot of times, they would just cut the thing into rounds and just pile them up there where they are. They stack it very neatly, swept the road, and did everything. He was very fair pricewise because it was a big job and he gave me a really good deal on it.

Frank Cody and his team were VERY professional and did a excellent job. We had several large (and small) trees removed. Frank was prompt to engage up front and give not only a good estimate, but also help in guiding me to work with the Fire Department to get a review and the right permits. He and his team were very punctual, arrived when stated and did the work quickly and efficiently. Excellent cleanup after the job and great follow up on the job and any questions. I would highly recommend Cody's Tree service for any tree work you have in the area!

Did tree maintenance on approx. 10+ trees. Very knowledgeable/ fair/ reasonable price. Cleaned up all debris. Trees looked great. |BTW - they are insured.

Called Frank Cody for an estimate. Frank was responsive, providing a reasonable estimate within a few days of the initial call. Frank also alerted me to a Tahoe Douglas Fire District defensible space program that reimburses home owners for tree upkeep. All work was done to my satisfaction, yard clean after work completed. Frank also checked in the following day to make sure I was happy with the level of tree limbing. Will be using this company again.

They were dependable and professional. Cutting down trees is very dangerous in our area, so they have all the necessary permits and safety equipments for the job, because there are a lot of cutters in the area who don't have any of these. He is young, polite and does the job properly.

They are superstars. I would definitely use their services again.
