BSR was referred to us by the home warranty company, and they went above and beyond the call of duty to get the permits pulled, fix the gas leak, get it inspected, and get the gas turned back on within a week. I'm so impressed by these guys, and would definitely hire them again to do any plumbing repairs.

First of all, our water heater went out. They installed a new one in our vacation home. The next time we visited, we kept running out of hot water. We had a different plumber come, and he said, "Duh, this is way too small for your house. You need one twice the size." BSR works with our home warranty company, so I understand that they could only spend so much, but why didn't they tell us that, so we could have paid the difference and gotten a bigger one? We then had to install a second water heater, which cost us way more than if we had just installed a bigger one in the first place. Next, our upstairs toilet needed replacing. I ordered one online and had it delivered to BSR. This was in March. I kept emailing them and getting no response. Finally, they got it installed the DAY BEFORE WE ARRIVED in October. Seven months they had to do it, and they did it the day before we arrived. Then, they had the nerve to DEMAND payment immediately. Of course I would have naturally paid right away, but I was pretty upset that they had waited until the last minute. Come to find out it was installed totally incorrectly. It clogged up the next time we came and we had to pay another plumber over $100 to fix their mistake. He said the flange was totally installed improperly. Why on earth would you trust these people do to anything for you? Do not do it!!

This is a family-run business, with Monte Beach the head plumber. His wife schedules the work, and Monte works alongside his sons. He is punctual and extremely thorough. Spends time telling me the best way to fix things, showing photos he takes with his iPhone as he examines behind the baseboards. He and his team work quietly, quickly, and tirelessly. And his wife, Maureen, even helped take care of all the reporting and paperwork to our insurance agency so that we could get covered for the damage form the leak! Monte subcontracted some of the repair work out to a carpenter and a tile company, and he oversaw all the work, making sure it was done right. He tries to find ways to do things right and still save us a little money. Really, if you had an A+ rating for BSR Plumbing, they would receive that rating from me.
