Stanley Pest Control-El Monte Office

Well, apparently because of the drought, ants found my house. It was a surprise and fairly sudden so I got on Angie's List and read through some Pest Control Services. Many of them said they would do a yearly for xxxx, or they said they would give a quote and then schedule a date for spraying. Then I found Stanly Pest Control and just called. They had great reviews and now I know why. The lovely person on the phone asked about my situation and scheduled someone for the next day between 2 and 4. At 1:30 the next day I got a call from the service person who let me know he was 30 minutes away. EXACTLY 30 minutes later, he was at the door. He took a look in the house and outside and immediately assessed the problem. An ant colony outside had discovered water and the trail led them marching indoors.I got an amazingly low estimate (for this issue only, not a monthly or quarterly sign here and we'll start with a one year contract.....story) and he went right to work !! He never sprayed indoors, which made me very happy, but spent some time outside clearing spider webs and tracking down the colony. THE NEXT DAY - NO ANTS !!! I can't recommend these folks highly enough !!! UPDATE: The ants are back, so I called and asked about something the last gentleman who sprayed the actual colony said. He mentioned that if I had any problems that recur, just call back and we'll send someone out. The next morning I got a rather terse message from the manager saying there was NO guarantee and that it would cost to send someone out again. Okay, no worries. Take something and relax, I'm okay with it. So the next gentleman came out to spray and was quite nice and prompt. I asked about the ant colony the last guy found and sprayed and he didn't seem to know about colonies, but would walk around the outside of the house and spray. That was Dec 30th. Today is the afternoon of January 2nd and I just sprayed indoors a marching line of ants on the wall of the guest bathroom and have been killing ants in the sink and even ones that have managed to crawl on me. I truly hate praying poisonous stuff indoors, but it was getting worse. I've called another company and they will be here in the morning. Last time, when the man who showed up sprayed the colony, they were gone the next day. This time, it only seemed to get worse over the last four days. Since there was no guarantee, according to the manager/owner (I don't recall which), I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Two workers used ladders to reach areas in roof-line infested with termites. They replaced wooden sections on several thresholds with termite damage. They checked rat traps left by earlier technician in attic and basement.

I had problems with ants around the house and was told that their treatment would be good for at least 3-4 months. Within 4-5 weeks I noticed that the ants had returned. Although there weren't as many as before there were enough that I had to apply

I originally was dissapointed with the work that they did because spiders showed up about 45 days after the fumigation. I however have revised my rating because they were very understanding of the situation and eventhough I was past their normal 30 day guarantee window they were willing to come back again and do a thorough fumigation and cover that work under the original warranty. They were very helpful and cordial over the phone and when their guy showed up to fumigate once again he did a very good job of spraying around the house and even sprayed the inside of the garage in case that was the source of the problem.

They were great, they did what they had to do. When they finished the inspection, they told me it would be about 3-4 days to get the results, and it took about a week and a half.

Sprayed for ants. Did a wonderful job!! Covered everything! Would definitely use them again!

IT WENT FINE AND WILL.DO IT AGAIN. THE TECH. WAS ABOUT 15 MINS LATE BUT NO BIG DEAL, HE DID A GREAT JOB. AND WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING TO BE DONE.

I've never used a pest service as preventive maintenance, but felt for the special price it might be worth it. I'm not quite sure how effective the product that they use is, but I have a 60 day warranty to find out. The service tech arrived within the time scheduled. He explained what the procedure would be and the areas around the house he would spray. Throughout the conversation, he was professional, courteous, and informative. Once he began working he was done within a half-hour. I would consider them for more serious situations in the future.

It went very well. He found some termites in one window, treated & then sprayed yard for pests

Only complaint is that I had to call them for an appointment. However once on the phone the process went smoothly. The appointment was fast and easy. The serviceman was polite, friendly and professional. We've decided to use them for periodic service.

I called Stanley Pest Control after buying thier offer on Angie's List. They made an appointment for me and came out exactly when they said they would. I got a call when they were 35 minutes away, just as promissed. The treament was done, but the ants were still there. I called to report this as they guarantee the treatments. They came out the very next day and treated the area again. Unfortunately, the problem was not resolved. I called and advised of the problem on a Sunday evening. They called back first thing Monday morning and sent someone out that same day. The problem seems to be resolved now. I will be calling to schedule the termite inspection soon.

They were very responsive and professional. When we discovered the rat in the Christmas tree, the exterminator, Randy, helped us to start removing the ornaments in hopes of taking the tree outside with the rat in it. Unfortunately, the rat ran down the tree and the chase was on!! After opening the doors we all finally chased the rat outside. We were impressed with Randy's easy going and positive attitude and wilingness to do what it took to get rid of the rat.

The service was great from beginning to end. Would definitely use them again.

When scheduling the service Stanley Pest was very accommodating to my schedule and actually offer options. The technician arrived on time and in uniform and provided efficient service. The following day I received a phone call from Stanley Pest thanking me for choosing them and if I had any questions regarding the service to call anytime. I also received a thank you letter in the mail which included contact information for Stanley Pest.

Every year we have our home inspected for pests. This year, we used Angie's list and found Stanley. The serviceman, Randy, called 30 minutes before he arrived as promised, showed up as promised on time, and proceeded to do an exterior and interior inspection of our unit. It was clear from my experience with many other pest control companies that Randy knew his job. He was very neat, professional, courteous, and informative. Luckily for us he found no pests to control this time. Because of this clean report, his company did not charge us for the inspection. But, we plan to call him back next year for a repeat performance!

I discovered a bee hive inside my walls. I called Stanely Pest Control. They came within 2 hours from the service call. They took care of the problem and have not come back. It has been 6 weeks. They also provided a 90 day guarantee.

The tech arrived a few minutes early, was very courteous and assessed the situation for what made the most sense. The treatment went as he described and the ants disappeared in the timeframe he gave me. I'm pretty happy with the results.

The people I had contact with were very nice. My problem is that I paid Angie's through PayPal, but when Stanley Pest Control came to the door to do the work they asked me how I wished to pay. I told them I had already paid. I then received a past due bill from them on or about November 9, 2012. I sent via email a copy of my PayPal transaction and told them to contact Angie's. I have heard nothing from either Stanley Pest Control nor Angie's regarding this matter. I assume it was resolved.

Completed the job professionally and quickly.

They did exactly what they said they would do. They were finished by 4pm, plus they cleaned up nicely.

Randy was prompt and very friendly. He went over our new, 100-year-old house in great detail and showed us all the place that rats had been getting in. His level of expertise and attention to detail were remarkable. His team returned a few days later and closed up all the holes where the rats had been getting in. They removed all of the rat droppings from the attics and crawl spaces. They set traps to catch any remaining rats and will return every few days to check them for the next several weeks. They guarantee that the rat problem will be completely eliminated. They also sprayed for the significant ant problem in the kitchen.We have hired Stanley to come in quarterly to monitor our pest problem. Highly recommended.

Went fine. Gave the go-ahead Thursday afternoon. They came at 11 AM Friday and had everything finish by 5 PM. Four people were involved. The question is: are the termites really gone? I won't know for a long time. But the one-year warranty is there.

The guy came, looked around, explained what he thought was happening, and seemed pretty knowledgeable. Explained what he was doing and why and how long it would take to remove the mice, etc.

I was not able to be there, but my tenets said they were very pleased with the service and Jay, the person who came out. They were very thorough in the spraying and was very professional. He also made great suggestions for maintenance after he left.

We are much more comfortable. They are a reliable group. The bugs don't come in anymore. They do what they say, are pleasant, clean up after themselves, and they are thorough. I stick with them until they prove I shouldn't, I am happy.
