I've been purchasing most of the major appliances as well as bathroom fixtures here. Service has been great and they're so easy to work with in regards to price matching and beating competitors price. They have more higher end appliances and fixtures than Home Depot/Lowes or regular Best Buys. Don't let the prices deters you from coming here. They have special sales and promotions often and the key things is to check the prices of what you want to buy first online or at competitors and then go to Pacific Sales for them to price match. They almost always do it. I like to buy here knowing that they have 60 days price guarantee too so even after you purchase you can still get money back if the item go on sales within 60 days. Delivery has always been on time and the sale reps all work there for a long time so they know what they're doing.
Description of Work: Good place to purchase major household appliances and bathroom fixtures. They have lots of high end products that you can't find at Home Depot, Lowes, or some Best Buy.

They really did an excellent work. We are pleased with the quality of work that they did. They showed up on time when they said they were going to be here. They finished the work. They really wanted the product to look nice. They wanted us to be happy with their works so they took some extra measures. That was nice. They really seemed to care about the finished product and that we were happy with it and so i kind of like that. Actually it took two weeks to do work so they were here like everyday but they were good at what they did. You can tell that they have a lot of experience in regards that they were doing for a long time and they did good work. They were bonded and insured.
Description of Work: Pacific Kitchens and Baths did refacing on our entire kitchen cabinet and there was also a section where they pulled out cabinets and reconfigured them with new cabinets in one section. Most of the work was refacing but there was some new cabinet work as well.

...and the fun continues. This is a continuation from my previous review, and it is going from bad to worse. along with all the other problems and poor quality I recently discovered that they could have blown my house up with their lousy work on my gas lines to my stove and oven. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!!!! Your families lives may be at stake! Heres a quick version of what happened this time - I smelled gas so I called the gas co. They confirmed and shut my gas off - on Christmas Eve!!!! I had to wait until the 26th to have someone fix my leaks, of which there were 4. The largest leak was coming from the line that supplies the stove and oven. Once the plumbers found that leak we had to pull out the oven and stove top and found that they did not even put an inline shut-off valve when they ran the pipes and installed the appliances. They also literally crammed the stovetop on top of the over with no regard for tubing and wiring. They crimped the gas line which was leaking and LUCKILY they did not crimp the electrical line too badly otherwise - BOOM!!!!! It truly could have been a major disaster. Along with the office/sales people, Armando, who was supposedly the lead contractor for our job, is a complete hack and I would not trust him to do anything to my hose - EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

We signed two separate contracts for the kitchen and bath and gave two deposits amounting to almost 50% of the total amounts. We found out later that the legal limit for deposits is $1000. No information of 3 day cancellation rights was given and no cancellation forms were given as required by law. We foolishly signed after being worn down by a 6 hour walk thru review of the job and final cost estimates. After reviewing the contracts, we realized the work and materials were very poorly described and we decided to use our 3 day right do cancel. Before signing they promptly answered all of our calls. After signing, they apparently screened our calls and never returned them. They have moved their business office to Anaheim and the address and phone number on the contracts were for an old location in S. El Monte where they apparently still make cabinets. The phone number was not answered and certified mail was not accepted at this address. We found the Anaheim address by an internet search and sent a certified cancellation notice there (it was signed for by the owner) and informed their salesperson verbally that we were cancelling after finally contacting him. We had intended to start over after the return of the deposits and rewriting the contracts to properly describe the work and materials. However, the legal limit for return of deposits is 10 days and after 12 days they had not contacted us at all or given us any clue as to when they would return the deposits. It took 3 more days to contact the owner and we found out the money had been spent and he could not repay immediately. This was the last telephone contact I have had with him and all communication has been by email. This started a long string of offers on our part to allow work on one project subject to return of the amount overpaid and broken promises on his part. After more than 3 months of trying to deal with this company, I would not allow them in my house to do anything. After seeing them in court, I never want to hear from them again. After seeing other online complaints on this site and others, total lack of communication after receiving deposits, overcharging for deposits and failure to return money seems to be their standard practice. They even cash their checks at a liquor store rather than depositing them in their bank where they might have to repay money to a customer or pay a vendor. Both of their telephone numbers (S. El Monte and Anaheim) go to the same answering machine and are never answered by a human. Choices are given for free estimates, project manager, drafting, etc., but the only choice that allows leaving a message is the free estimate. The salesperson we dealt with was previously a salesperson for The Kitchen Connection, that had its contractor's license revoked by the CSLB for many of the same offenses in June of last year. Do not be fooled by their A+ rating by the BBB for their Anaheim location. They are the same Pacific Kitchens and Baths that has an F rating for their South El Monte location. These two locations have the same contractor's license number and the phone numbers go to the same answering machine. Tom Vuong is listed as a contact by the BBB for the S. El Monte location but not for the Anaheim location. However, he is listed as the owner on the Anaheim business license but not on the S. El Monte business license. A person called So Quoc Ly is listed as the owner on the CSLB contractor's license and a corporation called KMC Kitchens Design Corp. owned by a person called Kwong Meng Chang is listed as the owner on the S. El Monte business license. Tom Voung finally admitted that these three people are all "partners", so apparently the company is more of a partnership than a sole ownership as claimed on all three of these licenses.

Never want to see him or his crew or the salesman David Gould again. I am 65 yrs old, not likely I will ever be able to do this again . When we walk thru the kitchen there is cracking as the floor moves up and down.. this was a misrable experience one will never be able to forget.
Description of Work: Didn' t start on promised date......................had to call call call Inexperienced non speaking English helpers Cabinet handles were placed unevenly on doors and all they wanted to do was Puddy them.. Demanded new doors and corrected placement. Dropped off a worker to pull up exsisting wood floor and left him here with no transortation and A HAMMER , demanded THEY RENT THE PROPER TOOL !! electrical box in attic left uncovered.. had to take a picture to show them while the crew boss said he must have forgot..( fire hazard) Stole the perfect carpet that was pulled up.... then said they took it to the dump.. lie the dump was closed by 7.30PM was told the rest of the house would be protected....LIE sent a man who had never laid wood floor before and left major gaps between the wood.......................!!!!! can see it. Said they would be happy to fill with silcione putty.. WHAT,, even I knew that was wrong. sent a neighbor of his to fix the floor, man who brought his kid with him and drilled some boards down but didn't work.. Now almost 10 months later many, many boards are lifting on thei $7000 floor. Sink does not drain, because the pipes were not laid correctly. Kitchen lites misplaced on ceiling and dimmers not done right. Granite underboard supports now sagging. Crushed the ducts in the attic and now will cost thousands to replace and fix. 6 week job took almost 4 months.

Let me tart by saying that I AHTE writing this but am doing so in the hopes of helping a consumer. We saw them at a few home shows and had them come for an estimate. Joe is one of their sales guys. He's a nice guy but disappears once the docs are signed. Tom is the drafter (NOT formally trained I come to find out at the end of the job). The quality of Tom's work is VERY amateur. They supposedly do this every day for a living so you would think that they would give you some of their insight and advice ....WRONG!!! He took measurements and when it came time to install, nothing fit!!1 The dishwasher did not fit into the space their cabinet installers left. The Hood did not fit, the cooktop did not fit when the oven was in, it was truly a comedy of errors! Along with the poor work quality, Tom's responsiveness is the worst I have ever experienced, and I have had A LOT of work done over the years. I don't know who he thinks he is dealing with but if he decides to return a call, he does so via text ... TEXT!!!!!! I am paying you $30,000! I'm NOT a high school kid, pick up the phone and deal with the problems head on! The workers, all subbed out - which is contradictory to what they told us during the sales process - left a huge mess every time the showed up. The cabinets, once installed were never even dusted off, Rolando and Carlos were the installers and were nice guys but the install left a lot to be desired, nothing aligns nicely, drawers hit, the spacing between the cabs and drawers is uneven, there are several scratches. It is truly amateur hour at it's worst! The production is also poor quality, they said it would be 100% wood, NOT veneer but some of the veneer is already peeling, and it's only been a week since they finished the job! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel. They demo'ed everything down to the walls, designed (and I use the term lightly) and installed the cabs, installed appliances, added lighting and electrical.
