Description of Work: Mike, our salesperson, made the measuring and purchase a pleasure. He was patient with our decision making process. The installers, Angel and Nicolas, did a beautiful job. Angel was good at checking in regarding owner preferences for the installation. We also purchased carpeting. Steve did a really great job installing directional carpeting on 3 sets of stairs, and was also a pleasure to work with. Would recommend to anyone.

+ -1 moreThey had samples which was nice. The installer came out within a couple days and he was there all day. It looks really good. The price was great and we are very satisfied.

+ -1 moreI was looking for a flooring contractor who would install a floor for me 1) on my schedule 2) for a reasonable price 3) is not a "big box store" driving out the local small businesses. This small business was exactly what I was looking for; personalized service, and decent price. I paid a little higher price than was available, (I had other bids) but my goodness, have you seen the Yelp reviews here? The installers were absolutely seriously superb craftsmen, and nice people to work with as well. I felt like family. I was treated with complete respect from the owner, the bookkeeper, the store keeper guy, and both installers. I have the absolute perfect outcome. This is what honest people do when they are in business to serve their community members. I have plenty of experience in remodel and home building in my life, and this company is a rare find. I was fortunate to be their client! Thank you Frank and everyone at Bay Area Floors!
Description of Work: Installed two layers of flooring underlayment over tongue and groove subfloor, and appropriate cushioning between layers for a silent finished floor product. Installed sheet vinyl flooring to a large kitchen with an island, with cove edges under toe kicks of the cabinets, with perfect inside and outside corners, and a perfect, invisible seam in a low traffic area.
