AFFORDABLE MOVING & STORAGE

The moves from both locations went very well. They arrived on time in Santa Barbara and worked fast to load the truck. They delivered it to the home in Sonora the next day, after dropping off another person's load in LA. They coordinated those two moves very well, and it saved me money to have them coordinate the two southern California moves. The following day they used two trucks to load belongings from the storage units in Sonora and delivered them to the house promptly. They used four people and placed the items in the house as we wanted. All four movers worked hard, fast and were very friendly. Overall a very good experience, surprisingly not signficantly more costly than a U-hual estimate (if hiring moving helpers) to move goods to the home from Santa Barbara and the Sonora storage units. And the cost of moving my apartment furniture from Santa Barbara to Sonora was about half the cost of hiring a Santa Barbara company to do so.

They packed up the rest of his belongings. Moved his studio apartment furniture into his new. cottage.They called when they were fifteen minutes away, they arrived exactly when they said they would. It only took them a couple of hours for the whole move. They are very efficient and quick. If you go over the hour they only charge in fifteen minute increments. No charging for full hour. We have used them before and will definitely use them again.

Price was fairly reasonable, movers were punctual, and services were adequate. Seemed little coordination between estimator, scheduler and movers. Communications was not as responsive as expected. On day of moves (done over 2 separate days one month apart), some movers seemed very qualified, showed patience with owner and were eager to understand owner requirements. We appreciated these movers so much! Other movers seemed inadequately trained and in a rush to finish the job and leave (didn't want to take a door off of the hinges to move a piece into a room) . An item was damaged, but was repaired to the satisfaction of the owner thanks to the efforts of one of the movers. A freezer was scheduled to me moved and included in estimate. When time to move, movers said it couldn't be done and did not call for additional assistance. Left up to owner to figure it out. All in all I might use again for a local move, but would be very specific about my actual requirements of the movers (only want people who have experience, patience and skill) and would make sure that I reviewed estimate with company owner to make sure that everything included in estimate would actually be moved. Do not like moving day surprises.
