+ -1 moreWas able to get a quick appointment during hot period of summer. AC needed a new capacitor. Serviceman figured out the problem and had it taken care of quickly. Worked with tenant who let him in. Was able to do this as a long-distance landlord, very pleased with service: prompt, professional, and no upsell or unreasonable charge.
Description of Work: AC stopped working at 4 bed. home

+ -1 moreThe serviceman was clean, courteous and professional. He lives in Napa. He even wore surgical booties over his shoes. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Checked the furnace. Moved the filter from intake position in house, and installed it over the furnace. He also told me that my heat exchanger was in great shape.( I was told otherwise by another company.)

+ -1 moreThe services was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Not only did Scott fix the problem (within minutes), he also installed a new thermostat that I purchased. He didn't have to do this, but he certainly didn't have any issue helping me. I'm not a technical or mechanical person by any means. He showed me how to use the new thermostat (it's called the NEST, which is great because it connects to my iPhone). BTW, I called on a Monday, July 1 to request servicing and Peterson Mechanical sent someone to my house the next day! Since owning the home, we haven't had any air conditioning and the Sonoma area was experiencing 100 degree temperatures. It was miserable. It was a relief to have a reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly company to come to our home and fix the air conditioning problem. We are HUGE fans of Peterson Mechanical. BRAVO.
Description of Work: Scott, the air conditioning servicer, installed a new capacitator in our air conditioning unit, which hasn't been used in five years (we just bought a house that was owned by a bank). He was knowledgeable and helpful. The air conditioner works terrific now!

+ -1 moreWe bought a 30 year old home that had been foreclosed and then flipped. But the old furnace would not work. Peterson Mechanical came out before escrow closed and gave us a bid. Then they were able to install it on the day we moved in so that we had heat in time for our first night in the house. They also checked all the duct work and fixed it as needed. They were very professional, worked around the movers and kept us advised on how they were doing.
Description of Work: They removed the old furnace and installed a Carrier 96% 2-stage variable speed furnace. They redid vents, fixed up the duct work, took care of permits and the testing. They were also very helpful to make sure that we knew how to apply for the two rebates that saved us another $400. We also got a nice lesson on how to use the thermostat.

+ -1 moreIt was a pretty easy fix. He was looking for work to do, so he changed my air filters for nothing. If you make an appointment, they come on time. They are honest. They could have replaced my entire heat pump, but it was an easy fix. They pretty much just charged me for the service call.
Description of Work: They fixed the heat pump. I think it had a short in it.
