Description of Work: We have a unique German Black Forrest house with huge soffits that extend over balconies on the sides and the front and back of the house. We put in 8" V-Rustic boards and new facia boards with the proper venting. Each piece had to be beveled and trimed to fit. Our existing rafters were not installed uniformly, causing the individual cuts on each board. The ends of our house are over 30 feet high with the soffits extending over the balconies upstairs. Ken Chapman, the contractor, had to first construct additional scaffolding to extend out past the facia boards to install the boards and to allow my wife and I to paint. Our house looks beautiful now. Two other contractors would not even bid the job. He has over 30 years experience and he needed it. I am also installing a new front door and a new kitchen door. Ken has helped us choose the right door at a fair price. It will be delivered in the middle of August and he will be here to help me unload the truck. We recommend Ken Chapman to anyone who wants high qualitywork at a good price.
