Our rep-- Monte was very responsive and helpful. Due to some personal issues we have had a several-month delay in the project. We have not yet decided yet to go with MJ since we found another contractor who seems to be much more experienced with Epoxy grout installation. But as far as followup and responsiveness Monte deserves an A rating.

I would use MJ Flooring again and again...and I would request Shannon to do the job...My floors look great.

I went to their store in personal and talked to their salesmen. They were very helpful and very enthusiastic. They came out and took the measurements. It took me three or four phone calls to them to actually get the estimate. So, I have decided to work with someone else as I am a little unsure that they will do the follow up. Everything seemed to be going great and very smoothly. I was happy with them until they did not do the follow up as they said that they would do after their representative came to my house. They did not return my phone calls which was very unsatisfactory. They were very responsive when I dropped by at their store and made arrangements. However, when I called them or left messages, they either did not get returned or did not get returned with the information that I had requested for.

I visited numerous flooring stores and performed research on-line re: the option of purchasing the materials and hiring my own contractor to perform the demo and installation. I found that MJ Flooring had an excellent selection of materials and competitive pricing, and I therefore decided to go with them. I was able to schedule the work very quickly. There were separate installers for the tile and the wood; I found both sets of installers to be competent and pleasant to work with. The entire process (from demo to completion) took approximately 2 weeks. I have since hired MJ Flooring to replace the ceramic tile in my master bathroom, and had another good experience with them.

My husband and I went to MJ flooring during a week day to explore flooring options. The sales person was completely uninterested in us, and even when not helping other customers, spent his time with a sales rep who came in after us. I thought it was weird, because a husband and wife together, during the middle of the day are not just wasting time - we were there to buy, but we didn't go with this place due to the lack of service.

Overall experience was OK. The store did an excellent sales job and then sort of forgot us afterward. They had the best price after five quotes. There were numerous times of confusion, and there was no single contact person following our progress. We eventually started asking for just one person to minimize our own confusion. The job completed about two weeks after originally promised, although the hardwood floors were done before we moved in, which was most important to us. There was confusion over the billing process. The contractor thought we were paying him directly, while the store said we would be dealing only with them. We sorted out the billing issue, but we ended up going right to the contractor to answer any questions about the job. The store was unresponsive to questions such as date, time and confirmation of installation. The work turned out beautifully, so we are happy despite the headaches. The contractors saved the day and did excellent work!
