Everything went perfectly.

I met with Emma for a consultation on all these issues, started with the windows and on into the whole house and what would be future projects. I felt very comfortable with her and didn’t need to look any further! She made some suggestions, noted all the issues and desires and came back in another appt with a plan and options for the coverings. We were able to select some Sillouette-type shades and custom wooden shutters; she helped us work theough the decision malimg process and we got the order done. Measurememts were taken and we received the shades amd they were installed professionally, there was one shade that didn’t quite fit and that was handled. The shutters were custom built locally and installed today, and they are just beautiful, with the custom design we desired.. My home has not ever looked this complete, I look around and feel so good! The shades are so well suited to our views and sun issues as well, they have made our house so enjoyable. I am delighted with the quality of work and products and am looking forward to a future family room update, a kitchen renno, and master bath upgrade!

This is our second project with Emma - the first were new valances for our kitchen, which came out perfectly. For our master bedroom, Emma helped me choose drapes for the sliding glass door and shades for the two smaller windows, as well as new drapery hardware. I loved working with her - my husband just tells me to do whatever I want, so I really need someone that listens and that I can bounce ideas off of. Working with Emma was great - she gave me excellent advice, not only about the window treatments, but also about paint colors and placing of the furniture. I enjoy using color, so it was important to me to find someone who would listen carefully to what I like, and not just suggest neutrals or pale colors. We now have a beautiful master bedroom with a bright blue accent wall and beautiful drapes and blinds - it looks just like I had hoped it would! I look forward to working with Emma again when we're ready for new drapes in our living room and family room.

The whole process was very smooth. One of the smaller shutters was not made to specifications, so the installer sent it back and will replace it with the correct one. We appreciated that he said he could "make it work" but wants it to be perfect, which we agree with. We would use 7 Sisters again, as she is professional, not pushy, and very knowledgeable. Also, her price was very competitive with other estimates we received, and we prefer doing business with small, independent businesses when possible.

7 Sisters Interiors did a wonderful job with helping us with window treatments and transforming our house. We got several quotes for shutters and choose to go with Emma because she had the best price for locally made wood shutters and we liked her punctuality and follow up she provided at every step. Shutters took about four weeks to get made and they looked great. At the installation she mentioned about her interior design services and offered to schedule a complimentary consultation to improve our living and dining rooms. We have never worked with a designer before and were not ready to work on the rest of the space at that time, but promised to touch base with her closer to the Holidays. We contacted her again in October and scheduled the design consultation for Saturday morning when both of us were home. Since she had already seen our space she had a lot of great ideas: repainting both rooms, adding accessories, new rug and reupholstering the dining room cushions. Emma took some pictures and asked questions about the look we wanted to create. We really didn't know how to answer that question since all we cared about was updated and inviting space for our friends. She showed us some images of different styles and we settled on more "transitional" style. On our next appointment she presented the paint colors for both rooms and images of lamps, rugs, artwork, fabric for the chairs. I loved the rug she presented, everything looked very nice and was within our budget. Ordering process was easy and fast, we painted our rooms while waiting for accessories to arrive. Chairs were reupholstered by the workroom Emma uses for her projects. Overall the experience was very pleasant and both projects went without any hiccups. We love our living and dining rooms, our friends were impressed by the transformation too. Both rooms look inviting, comfortable and complete.
