It went better than I could have possibly ever expected. He changed my whole kitchen it looks so nice that if you had blindfolded me and brought me to my own house, I would not have believed that it was my kitchen. I was in utter disbelief at the amazing work done, from the cabinets to the floors, every single part of my kitchen looked brand new. I highly recommend them for anybody looking for a quality remodeling job, with a friendly staff and flexible hours that worked perfectly around my schedule.

The kitchen remodel went smoothly, with only a few bumps, The team had excellent suggestions, were responsive to my needs and requests. They were on time, let me know how things were progressing, and always professional. WDS is a full service construction company, they can do just about anything. On future needs, I will defiantly use WDS Remodeling.

There was a bit of demolition done, which was done quickly and very cleanly. The workers were very careful to cover the floors and carpets and to dispose of debris properly and neatly. The job was done in 3 days - we didn't have to do without our master bath for very long! David planned it that way. There was a cracked tile that I discovered after the job was done. David took care of it right away. What most impressed me is that it was just a small job. He agreed to the simplest fix for our problem (he cut out the deep surround to the tub, re-tiled it and even gave me an extra "shelf" next to the sink cabinet!) We had had others look into fixing it, but they either wanted to do a 20K remodel or not bother with it. We appreciate the job that was done.

He drew up plans, just from a CAD drawing which we disregarded. The layout was exactly what we already had and we needed to enlarge the kitchen and change the layout.

Work was completed on time. Staff performing work were very professional. Contractor very amenable to making changes with the goal of making customer happy.

I asked many questions looking for input and was repeatedly told "I don't do that". I finally asked what he did do and he stated he would do some blueprints for me. He basically grilled me on what I may want and I came up with as many ideas as I could. I was really looking for help and information on what could be done with my kitchen and bathroom. Both guys took some measurements of both my kitchen and bathroom, told me they would be in touch and quickly left. I never heard from them again, and honestly, did not wish to contact them. The lack of professionalism really bothered me, and both men seemed to have very negative attitudes. It did not feel as if they even wanted to be there and were of no help at all. I would like a refund please.

We have not yet received the plans so it's difficult to give an accurate rating. We would consider hiring again if we were happy with the design plan but have had no contact for over 4 months.

waste of time. poor quality, poor customer service. Didn't listen to my requirements. just wasted my time in general. Not professional at all.

Dave Smith (the owner) was great to work with. He provided a new plan, answered questions, and worked with us selecting the appropriate granite and tile backsplash among other design features. He also offered his wife Loretta assist us in the selection process. Both were very helpful and her extra help was very much appreciated. The demolition, painting, electrical and appliance installation was done by employees Elliott and Ryan. The granite work, cabinetry, and texturing were done by independent specialists that Dave works with on his jobs. We are delighted with the end result and the process was as painless as possible,. The work took slightly over three weeks. The job started the day Dave promised and time for completion was also consistent with our expectations. Dave outlined the process and was careful to keep us up to date with what would happen each week and most days. If something came up from his end we knew about right away. If something came up on our end he could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Workers cleaned up every day and if something was left our permission was asked. Obviously the quality of the work ends up being the most important thing and we are very happy with our new kitchen. But other things are important as well. Does the contractor do what he says he will do? Are they careful and respectful of your property and you? Do they keep you informed and are they open to your input? Do they low ball the bid and count on change orders to make their money? WDS gets an A+ on these questions. They kept us informed, they were respectful, and a good plan was provided and there was no attempt or need to talk us into change orders. Elliott and Ryan were a delight to have in the house and are a great asset to WDS. We expect to additional work in the future and we expect to use WDS for this work.

This was a large project for us and involved quite a bit of our home. It went quickly. No demolition was started until the cabinets were ready to be installed. After 3.5 weeks, we were back in our kitchen. The quality of the work was excellent in all cases. The WDS crew is highly skilled and competent and the subcontractors are as well. People cleaned up well after themselves at the end of day. No one smoked on sight. It all went really well. Dave, our contractor, gave us a lot of help in designing the kitchen layout and in selecting components like granite, tile, lights and flooring. I did not have a vision for the kitchen, except that it be larger, so really needed this help. He made suggestions, but did not push for anything in particular, which worked well for me. Initially I was thinking of putting in an island, but Dave pointed out we only had room for a tiny island and it would be the same price if not cheaper to move the door and expand the kitchen. Done and done. In addition to making the kitchen larger, we had a pocket door installed between the kitchen and dining room. Termites were discovered in that area and the damage was repaired. We had a small pantry that was converted to cabinets along with a shelf and wiring for the microwave. There was enough granite to line the shelf under the microwave and that really looks nice. The cabinets include a pull out shelf that houses bins for recycling and garbage. New wiring was also installed for the lights over the new breakfast bar. Dave has lots of experience and seemed to read us very well and understand our priorities. I appreciate working with someone who's been in the business long enough to have seen everything and know what to do about it. It's clear he wants to do a good job and wants us to be happy with the end product and we are.

He was really professional. Overall, they were really good. He also gave us an estimate for the remodel, but it’s a little out of reach for us right now. In the future, we may go with this company.

It went well. We purchased Dave's design package from Angie's list and Dave produced some computer rendered layouts. He informed us that he has the cabinets custom built and that we could get any dimensions which is what we needed because we wanted some non-standard sizes. The design is not about him recommending what style cabinets, appliances, etc. to use but basically a layout - he told us that if we wanted any modifications, such as narrower cabinets or island size , he could do that. Based upon the initial consultation, he provided his price for providing the service. We interviewed another kitchen remodeling company and had two representatives over. They basically were sales people. They provided better computer generated layouts of the kitchen but did not offer custom cabinets. Their estimate was unreasonably low and they steered us towards using their specific brand types. Checking them out on internet review sites, we confirmed that if you purchased their service, you never see them again but only see the separate workers performing the various construction steps. We contracted with Dave, took a few weeks deciding cabinet style and final layout and had Dave start the process. The cabinets were built, demo occurred in half a day and the cabinets delivered and installed the same day and following day. The countertop guy came, made templates, fabricated the countertop, and installed about a week later. We had selected a rather expensive granite that came in larger than normal slabs, so there was enough left after the countertops to use as a full backsplash instead of using tile as we had previously planned. So the granite guy then measured, fabricated and installed the granite backsplash. Dave's crews installed the appliances, and modified and installed some electrical boxes. The cutting board and cabinet door spice rack were not what we thought we had ordered, so they were redone to our satisfaction. Dave's workers were very respectful and good people. Dave showed up every time there was work going on to see how it was going. Dave answered his phone every time we called him. We've had some poor experiences with contractors in the past and it was a pleasure to have a guy you could trust working for you. We had some misunderstandings as to what exactly we wanted, but Dave had told us that he was on the job until we got what we wanted. This proved to be the case. If your on a tight budget you may wish to ask Dave to provide you a detailed cost breakdown. We didn't as we knew we were going to blow the budget on granite and we simply were going to get what we wanted for once in our lives!

A 3D computer program was designed for my kitchen with the details of my kitchen remodel. I chose a contractor I had used before.

He did as he promised. I didn't understand it very well, I thought he was going to give some design suggestions and instead he just did blue print. I told that to him, and he was going to try and change his pitch. He was prompt, he was clear, and he bid the work to finish the project. I wouldn't use the product, I would use the provider, his bid came too high for what I needed.

A meeting was set and we met to discuss the scope of what I wanted done. A design of my requested work was submitted to me along with a proposed quote to do the work. After shopping around for more bids I was able to find another contractor to perform the work at a reduced cost.

Great Dave had some great ideas and his price for the project was about what I expected. Getting more estimate then will decide on contractor. Dave is at the top of the list. He was very professional and open to all our ideas

We paid the fee for him to come over and make a design. He was a real nice man and we liked him. His designs did not fit our style but he was very knowledgeable and insightful. He is more of a builder not a designer and we were looking for something with more imagination.

I paid $50 for an Angie's List deal with WDS for a bathroom design consultation. After an initial 30 minute visit from WDS to get room dimensions, etc., I received nothing. No design work. I believe the consultation was merely a ploy to do an estimate on the construction work. So, I pay $50 to get an estimate!! I didn't want a cost estimate for the work. I wanted design work, and I didn't get it.

I hired David Smith of WDS Remodeling through an Angie's Deal offer for Design consultation for either kitchen or bathroom. I had him do a design for my master bathroom. What a joke. The design was totally amateur and absolutely laughable. Truly ... anyone who has seen it has laughed and asked me if it was a joke someone was playing on me. In the "design," he left my vanity exactly as it currently is without any of the changes I said I wanted. He took the wall down in the design next to the toilet (but added a note that I could always put a half-wall there if I wanted). There was nothing wrong with the full wall. A few people wondered if he did it that way because he couldn't figure out how to insert a wall with the computer program he was using. He did move my shower to the other side of the room, BUT, had it designed exactly like my current stall shower is. Nothing different at all and definitely not a larger, more upscale shower like I said I wanted. Then next to the shower he has crammed in a small cabinet which is crammed next to a weirdly placed tub next to which is an oddly placed very tall cabinet. It just doesn't make sense and looks horrible. I know that a first plan isn't usually going to be the final product, but there wasn't anything about this plan that looked professional, that made sense from a design standpoint and that really had anything to do with what I said I'd like. As well, a couple of times he made a condescending comment to me. It probably doesn't take a genius to figure out that I didn't hire this contractor to do any remodeling work for me. What a waste of $50. Bummer

The 3 men who performed the labor were very knowledgable and efficient. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked. 2 days to change out 12 windows and a sliding glass door. Dave was also very knowledgeable about the whole process and came several times to check on his workers. From the day of the estimate, we knew we wanted to have Dave's windows. He is totally sold on his product and makes gives very compelling information about the quality and types of windows. Technology has changed a great deal in this field and we had no idea how good these windows were going to be. Love them and greatly appreciate the simplicity of having them installed.

The job went went. David and his crew showed up each day as scheduled, on time. His crew was friendly, courteous, and answered all of my questions. The new windows look great and I plan to have more installed. They put the blinds back up when they were done and vacuumed up the dust. Nice job.

He was punctual and was actually a little early. I am not sure what I want to do with my kitchen, so I got the big deal because I wanted some more ideas and he wanted me to have more in mind of what I wanted. He offered to come back when I had more in mind of what I wanted to do and for him to go off of. He will design what I want. I think in the way that he presents and his integrity in what he does offer; my impression would be that it would be excellent. Basically, I would tell him what I want and he does give some ideas. He is straightforward, he will complete the job on time, he does not want the money before the job is done and he will not go on to another job until mine is done. What I see is what I get with him and I like that. He did not pretend to be a kitchen designer and he just needed me to know more about what I wanted. He said that he would be happy to come back out. He is more interested in me getting what I want. I will use him again.

It was fine. They came out shortly after I purchased the big deal. She went through the kitchen, took measurements, and made some suggestions for the renovation. It was good. I would use them again.

It went very well. The workers were pros and the owner of WDS checked in on them often.

This was a huge job, and we knew it would be. Dave's company had previously installed windows throughout the house for us, and we were completely satisfied with both the windows and the work done on them. In the course of conversations about that work, Dave shared that he also does kitchen and bathroom remodels, and we invited him to give us a quote on our project. He came back to us with a very fair estimate for the kitchen remodel, and we decided to move ahead with him. Throughout the process, we loved working with both Dave and his crew. They were exceptionally skilled, very courteous and accommodating, and kept the place very neat and clean. Dave promised a two-month process, and that is what he delivered. Our kitchen was completely custom according to my own personal design, and what materialized as his team worked was my vision coming to life. We would use Dave again in a heartbeat (and plan to as other remodeling comes up). We give him the highest recommendation and two thumbs up!
