Description of Work: Delivered a conceptional plan/drawings for kitchen remodel. We never used his services as we decided to use a contractor with whom we had previous projects. The "no" vote above is not a reflection on his service but rather the fact that we will be using our current contractor for any future projects.

Description of Work: Kitchen remodel consultation with 3D drawings. Dave was very responsive, punctual, professional, and courteous. However, we were underwhelmed by the 3D renderings. We're probably spoiled by what we see on HGTV, and Dave even warned us about that. However, the renderings were on the small side (a small portion of an 8.5 X 11 piece of paper in portrait mode from an inkjet printer), didn't contain some of the elements we'd discussed (cabinet color and pull style, backsplash style, range hood, etc.) My thought is that the 3D renderings are probably one of the things that would get most people excited about spending several tens of thousands of dollars on a kitchen remodel, so if I were doing kitchen remodel consultations, I'd make the drawings as impressive as possible, and make sure I made the drawings look like what was discussed so it matched the customer's "dream" of what their kitchen might look like when done. However, Dave's the successful contractor and I'm not, and it sounds like his company already has a lot of work, so he obviously knows what he's doing. For what we spent on the consultation, I'm happy with what we got.

Description of Work: Small kitchen renovations: new counter-tops, new sink, under the sink water purifier unit, updated plumbing, electrical work and beautiful backsplash tile work. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the work, the professional and courteous behavior from Ryan and Elliot, who performed the jobs, under the supervision of owner David Smith. Description of Work: They installed a new window in a wall that previously had no window and removed a raised tile entry way. The work required removing, lowering, and replacing the front door assembly and smoothing the entry way floor to prepare for installation of new flooring. They did good work for a reasonable price, were punctual, cooperative, and easy to deal with. They also gave us good advice on our future projects.

Description of Work: The cost of the consultation was not worth the effort. The provider did not listen to what I wanting and added in what he believed was what was best. The estimate was not broken down so I could choose the items that might have interested me. I won't do this again.
