It went extremely well. Kurt arrived on time (early during the two hour window given). I explained the issue(s) and Kurt honed in on the problem(s) fairly quick. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. I really appreciate the quick work he did and brought a previously installed sub-panel up to code with minimal cost. Great job Kurt!

Well, there was no estimate given and I feel as I were overcharged. I feel as if they changed the breakers and it was unnecessary. I called him and he was supposed to come back, but he never got back to me.

Dan came out to give me an estimate on Saturday am. He said he would be back later to trouble shoot and fix the problem. He never showed up. I called him Monday am to see if he was going to do the job. Left message. No call back. I called a week later. No call back. This is horrible customer service or lack there of.

Amma Electric came to our rescue this afternoon, and I am writing this review to rave about their excellent service!!! It's the day before a long 4-day Thanksgiving weekend, and we were at our wit's end with an absent electrician and SMUD. I turned to Angie's List for help. We are in the middle of a remodel, and we'd been without power for two full weeks. I needed a new electrician on an emergency basis to come out, change the three big cables that connect our home to SMUD, and do it quickly. I called Amma Electric, and Cheryl answered the phone in a professional and friendly manner. She listened carefully, took down the information, and immediately put me in contact with Dan. Dan was able to come out within the hour to take a look. Dan left to get supplies and returned to complete the job about two hours later. We needed to be in contact with Dan while he was gone, and Dan always answered his phone or called us back right away. I really appreciated that! Dan was able to do the actual work in about 30 minutes so we were ready for a county inspector to sign off and have SMUD reconnect our power the same day. Throughout the entire encounter, Dan was extremely professional and thorough. He was also friendly and sympathetic to our dilemma and went above and beyond to help us get power before the holiday weekend. Dan knew we were desperate and could have charged us more money, but his price was reasonable and fair. He even gave us an Angie's List discount. We highly recommend Dan and Amma Electric, and we would not hesitate to refer them or use them again in the future.

IT WENT OK

The experience was really good. He was very professional and he gave me good advice. Everything went well. I asked them a month ago to provide me a letter/certificate for the final inspection for my permit application and they were very open to that even though it had been a while since they did the inspection. They did a good job on the inspection.

, Dan could smell that the motor was burnt. It was no longer flush to the ceiling. That worried me the most. He even went up in the attic to check things out.

Fine job. The electrician was able to come over the same day we called and promptly do all the requested work within two hours. The workmanship was excellent and he was totally professional. the price wasn't cheap, even after the Angie's List member discount, but we would use Amma Electric again. You get what you pay for.

I called and set up an appointment a few days later (my choice). Cheryl called the night before to confirm the appointment which I like. Dan arrived on time and initially thought the canned light couldn't be removed. He found the short, got the can removed and quickly fixed the problem (30 minutes). We have used Dan several other times in the past (2 brand new panels and 2 homes) for various problems or additions. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. He is on the pricey side, but I feel comfortable with him and he guarantees his work for life!

He calls if he is running late, does all work to code and a quality job. Highly recommend him.

We've used him before and he does a good job. He is pretty expensive.
