Vision Landscaping

Don’t be fooled by the owner coming to meet you for an initial consultation as all of the actual work is done by a (possibly illegal) crew that does NOT care about your property and will lie about services rendered. I’ve come home to find my garden hose carelessly strewn (with photos to prove) across my hedges and when the crew came back to take it down- they lied to the owner that they were authorized to do more work. I’ve since been charged with an additional fee for services that I did not approve and now have to hire an attorney because Matt has sent the claim to collections. I’m appalled at the horrible service and lack of accountability for this company. Please do not make the same mistake I did, it will cost you unnecessary time and headache.

The first three visits they were weeding our slope, which is quite steep. They did a good job considering the difficulty. However the last visit they were pruning the shrubs in our front yard and did a hurried sloppy job. They seemed more interested in finishing quickly then in doing a good job. I commented on this in an email to the company but received no reply. We have decided not to continue their service

They come every Friday. It went good.

Matt and his crew were very punctual and professional. We were very happy with their work and will have them use them in the future for our landscaping needs.

Matt was great!!!! He located the problem and fixed it right away. He has been out three times in the last month and has done a wonderful job each time. I highly recommend him.

professional team of gardeners and it will take 2 months to get the yard looking the way that it should. Office manager/wife.bookkeeper not very nice as well. We are trying to get the payments made in a timely manner and to finally pay off the bill and to have the appropriate adjustments made to our bill (Not showing up to service the account on the 28th of November) and after many arguments and back and forth, I give up. Never argue with someone who is not worth arguing with-THE CUSTOMER IS NEVER RIGHT AND SHOULD NEVER BE HEARD!!!!!!! "NEVER EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!"

I used Vision Landscaping to help me maintain my yard at my townhouse. The owner met me for our initial appointment and he was on time and the price was perfect! He came every week and if I needed extra things done, all I had to do was email him and they were completed. I moved out July 2013 and he made sure the yard was nicely maintained for the new tenants. I used Vision Landscaping for about a year. I left his contact information with the realtor in case they needed his services. I would highly recommend Vision Landscaping.

Matt Powers is VERY personable. We sat and talked about what I looked for in a weekly maintenance company to see if he would be able to meet those thoughts and Matt explained how his company is run. We went around the home and looked at our landscaping, talking of different ideas on what could be done. Within a number of days I received an estimate which was broken down into different levels of landscaping/maintenance needs. I truly like how each level was broken down! At this particular time, we were unable to use his services, but we'll keep him in mind for the future.

I like the fact that this provider and his crew are American and, obviously, are fluent in English. The gardeners that I've dealt with in the past did not speak English very well so, unfortunately, I had a difficult time understanding them. Matt came over and said he would email me the estimate for the installation of the sod(at a later date I requested that I, also, wanted to have a tree planted) and a detailed description of what his weekly yard service included and how much each level of service would cost. Although, his weekly yard service was out of my price range I decided to hire him to install the sod. Whenever I had a question Matt would return my phone calls or emails in a timely fashion. He's, also, very knowledgeable. I wish I could afford to hire him as my regular gardener.

Provider's quality of work was unacceptable. The Crew broke a sprinkler, back patio was not properly blown off. Extra debris was supposedly taken off the property but from what on the property was not clear. Bamboo was trimmed, but we do not have bamboo on the property. When the provider was questioned about the bamboo, the items trimmed turned into a small fern and a 18 x 12 inch border of ice plant. Good point for the provider is he spoke English and understood English. The provider also sends an email with information about the work done on the property, only the information for the work done on our property was incorrect. The provider also offers 3 levels of service - Silver $30 a week, Gold $50 a week, and Platinum $100 a week.

Matt and his team have been taking care of my yard for a little over a month now. They are extremely professional and responsive, and have done a great job maintaining (and upgrading) our landscaping. Matt sends an e-mail each week to let us know what services were completed (including some monthly and bi-monthly services such as lawn fertilizer and weedkiller and sprinkler-checks): Communication Skills A+! When they did find a leak in our sprinkler system they let us know via e-mail that day, put a marker on the spot, then asked if we would like them to fix it before moving ahead. When we did ask them to complete the work it was done well and at a very reasonable price. I am very satisfied with Vision Landscaping and would highly recommend them.

I was looking for a new maintenance company to take care of my yard because I was not happy with my current provider. They were a "mow and blow" type of gardener. It was hard to communicate with them and the customer service was terrible. I also needed a planter in the front of my house to be relandscaped. Matt at Vision Landscaping put together a professional quote for the planter installation and the price was affordable. It came out beautiful and I received so many compliments on it. I was so happy with the work Matt and his crew had provided that I asked him to put together a quote for weekly maintenance. Again the quote was professional and it gave me different levels of services to choose from. Vision Landscaping has been taking care of my yard for over four years and my yards have never looked better. Matt communicates every week by email on the work that was performed at my house. Matt and his crew are friendly and easy to work with, I can always get a hold of Matt by email or phone. Matt is very knowledgable and is always happy to answer any of my questions.
