We received 5 different estimates for our backyard remodel and Mark Swink from Swink's creation stood out from the rest. The proposal was detailed and Mark was extremely knowledgeable, genuine and thorough. The estimate we received was right in the middle of the other estimates so we felt like the pricing was reasonable. Work began on time as promised and went on without a hitch even while we were gone on a 9 day vacation. The workers were courteous and professional. After 4 weeks, we have a beautiful backyard remodel completed. For us, the most important thing about a contractor is their ability to deliver on promises, communicate well with us as homeowners and produce quality workmanship. Swink's Creation came through on all of these points. Through out the project, the owner Mark Swink kept in contact with us and showed genuine care and professionalism. We would wholeheartedly recommend Swink's Creation to any of our neighbors.

I was very pleased with their work. They showed up on time. They told us before hand if they were not coming. Their owner explained everything that was going on. He answered questions and concerns that I had. They did not drag on for ever. They gave us an estimate and we agreed upon though they did go over budget a tiny bit. There were unforeseen things that happened. I would definitely use them in the future. We had so many compliments also on our project. Everybody who has seen it liked it and in fact we had somebody come up to us to say that he would buy the house if we ever put it up for sale.

They did an amazing job. Mark kept in touch with me to keep me up with where everything was at for the job.

It was a little slow going getting Mark to come out. Probably because he does get a lot of business. But when he did come out, he seemed very responsive to my needs and seem to put together a good package in his proposal. He was very professional in how he handled himself and he seemed to have his ducks in a row when he did his presentation and just seemed like the kind of person you could work with to get the job done. I ended up not choosing Mark because he was a little on the high side and I felt more comfortable with another landscaper. If I didn't feel really comfortable with this landscaper, I might have chosen Mark anyway even though he was the highest bid that I got. Just because he seemed to put in good work and the references he provided did seem to give him a good review. Overall when you are spending thousands of dollars to do a job like this, I think saving money is not as high of a priority and you should consider and ultimately you want to find someone who you are the most comfortable with and believe will do the best job for you with the littlest of issues.

They were very good. Unfortunately we couldn't pull the trigger to get the work done. I wasn't able to meet them so I gave them a key to go into the backyard. They emailed the estimate.

I was very impressed with them, but they were a little pricey. The owner of the company came out, he was very prompt and professional. He showed me images of places that he had performed similar work on.

Superb job - 11 out of 10 because it could not have gone more smoothly and the end result was even better than we imagined it would be. Mark Swink is a smart and creative designer, sensing our tastes quickly and providing attractive and practical options for layout, materials and finishes. We had a problem with lifted, cracked concrete and he correctly diagnosed the cause (which other contractors had failed to do) and recommended a surface that would be less susceptable and more easily repaired if it should repeat. His crews were nice people, hard working, courteous and competent, arriving and leaving on a regular schedule, leaving the grounds tidy at the end of their day. It was really very impressive for us to watch it happen. Most important in such large jobs, there were no unanticipated "extras". A few weeks later we got a pleasant surprise, our yard was awarded a First Place Beautification Award for our county. Almost three years later it is still a pleasure.
