Description of Work: We could not agree to terms enough to start the project. Maybe in the near future.

Description of Work: Chipped and removed old plaster, replastered in Pebble-Tec. Retiled ~6" around perimeter of pool, plus retiled spa dam wall. Replaced vacuum heads and units. Took out old mastic and replaced. Replaced some broken bricks. Troubleshot pool light. Installed new pool and spa lights. Provided pool startup service. | |It couldn't have gone better, and I feel bad that it has taken me so long to write this review. Todd was my main point of contact and he made sure that I knew exactly what he and his subcontractors would be doing, by day, and made sure all my questions were answered. He (and his workers) were always on time, always worked in a professional manner, and were fastidious about cleanup. Todd would stop by, either in the morning or in the evening, every day that work was to be performed, to make sure that everything was up to his standards. | |We had to adjust the schedule because I ordered custom glass tile, and Todd worked with me to ensure that work would be able to start within a couple of days of receiving my tile order so no time was lost. | |When I asked if his mason could replace a some bricks out in our front yard which had broken (not part of the quote or job), he quoted a reasonable price, and I was able to get something fixed which had been nagging me for a long time. | |When Todd originally quoted me the timeframe to do the entire job, we did not anticipate the delay for ordering custom tile (I did not realize I wanted to do this until later), but the job was completed in the timeframe originally quoted anyway! By the way, the original quote included the cost of "standard" tile. When I ordered custom tile from a 3rd party, Todd was quick to ensure that the amount that was allotted for the standard tile was removed from the quote. | |I must say that this was a very enjoyable experience. I recognize that, for a pool company, a pool resurfacing job is a smaller job that a full pool installation; however, Todd and Swan Pools West never made me feel anything other than I was their number one priority. | |I would HIGHLY recommend Swan Pools West to anyone considering a job such as this.

Description of Work: Dave came right on time and took time to explain exactly what would be done if he put in a pool for me. I ended up deciding not to put in a pool, but if I change my mind in the future, I will have Swan Pools West do the job.

Description of Work: Dave (the owner of Swan) gave me a bid onsite for completely refinishing my large (36,000 gal) plaster pool. Bid included new coping, tile, plumbing, new pool light, auto fill, pebble sheen blue lagoon finish, and a new pool heater. They repaired a crack also. There were some expected add ons to the original bid but nothing unreasonable. His bid was the fourth bid I had received and considerably less than the other 3. His workers, many of whom were subcontractors, performed excellent work and were extremely polite. Dave said it would take about 4 weeks and he was right on. Pool looks and works beautiful and I would definitely use Swan Pools again.

Description of Work: Our backyard was transformed from an ugly weed lot to a beautiful home paradise! Dave Lewis designed our pool and built it. This included all plumbing & electrical work. Dave was very accommodating with our requests as well. He also handled most of the landscaping with additional brick work for our planter.

Description of Work: Our pool was replastered with new piping and skimmer installed. The whole back yard was regraded and pool equipment was moved. Electrical and gas were moved as well. A concrete patio, stained and stamped was redone as well as a concrete walkway around the pool. This required footings and small retaining walls, and stone work. A portion of the patio was replaced with a wood deck walkway. The yard was landscaped with the irrigation replaced.

Description of Work: I can't say enough good things about this company. Dave, his son, Todd and every worker has been professional, impressive, actually a marvel to watch. Dave is very honest, straight forward. No, surprise costs! Extremely responsive to our needs and got to work right away. We never felt like we were waiting for no reason... I feel like I am in the best hands.I would highly recommend Swan Pools West. I love my pool, decking and new spa! I had several quotes, but so glad I picked Swan over any one else!
