Description of Work: Real nice guy at first. Refinished our kitchen cabnets and make our island bigger. Did a terrible job and we made him redo them. He bitched and complained about having to redo them and they finially did come out well. His charm quickly wore off and he became one of the rudiest, abusive, and smart a people I have ever been arround. To top things off, places in the cabinets have since cracked. He damaged our range hood and damaged our $2600 Restoration Hardware Table. He decided he would pile up all the things in the kitchen on top of this expensive table including the microwave instead of putting the things on the concrete slab floor. This gut in my opinion is a real nightmare and has the worst attituide I have ever been around.

Jim was recommended by Harter Surfaces, a countertop manufacturer/distributor, so we decided to give him a try. He came to our home to discuss the job in depth and took measurements. We appreciated the time he took in learning what we wanted and talking us through the process. Later the same day he emailed an estimate for the entire job - countertop material and labor required to remove and replace the countertops as well as remove and replace all three sinks and reconnect all plumbing. We liked the fact that he handled everything rather than having to hire a plumber to re-connect the new sinks once they were in place. It took us time to decide on the material we wanted to use, however, once we did Jim handled everything from there. The install date was scheduled and Jim and his assistant arrived promptly. He was very meticilous in leveling and installing the countertops and sinks. His work was excellent and we were delighted with the finished product. There was one bump and Jim took ownership of the problem and rectified it at no additional cost to us which we found extremely professional. The entire job site was cleaned very well when the job finished. We also wanted tile on one wall of the kitchen and while Jim didn't do tiling he had a recommendation and his go to guy, Oscar, installed the tile the next day. It was extremely well done.
