Reed Roofing

I flagged Mike down during a rain storm when he was heading to a neighbor?s house to repair their leak. By looking at our interior roof and us describing the problem, he guessed there was leaves built up and ripped tar paper, but he could not check as it was raining at the time. He called a few days after the storm had passed as promised and came out. He was correct about the problem in one area; the other leaking area a previous roofer had installed flashing incorrectly. Mike climbed on our roof, removed a large section of tiles and carefully removed all the leaves that had been damming the water up. He very carefully placed the problem leaves in a garbage bag (there was lots!) instead of tossing them onto our deck. He swept the roof area thoroughly of leaves and replaced the torn paper. It has rained since his repair and nothing leaked. **Addendum 2-24-10-It rained very hard for about a week and I had to place a bowl under the leak. I have called him several times and he is not returning my calls. Whatever he did to fix the flashing, he has made the leak worse.
