Very impressed with the service

Returning from a trip, I discovered water running from under a bricked in pipe and thought the leak was there. As noted, Danny Pitman realized it was inside the wall and made only two relatively small holes in the stucco so he could replace the 80-year-old corroded riser. He did that quickly and efficiently, and cleaned the debris when he finished. We made plans for him to return to pump out the standing water; when he did, the stuff magically disappeared. Still, he crawled back under the house, made sure there was no standing water and that no other apparent damage had been done by the slow leak. Even though he made this additional house call, since he hadn't had to do anything, there was no charge. That is what service looks like, other plumbers who I will not be calling again!

Great same-day service. Prompt arrival, quick fix of our problem and then out the door. Total time here: approximately 45 minutes.

Because of the age of the pipes it was not a simple fix, but with skill and determination and a few new parts our drain is working better than ever.

OK, so any plumbing problems seem to happen at the worst times, Saturday 8:00... sewage out of the cap. My regular plumber canceled and in a panic I came here and found these guys... Dale actually answered the phone, the arrival was 10 minutes in to the one hour window and the problem was more than I expected. Cleared the lines to the street and all is well... would use this company again for sure!

From first phone contact to finishing the job, Dale was professional, courteous and warm. I made the call this morning at 8 am and he immediately slotted me into his schedule, calling 30 minutes before arrival in the afternoon. He was so efficient that the problem was analyzed and drain cleared in less than 15 minutes. Since we are new to the community he even threw in, at my request, recommendations for tacos and pastrami sandwiches in our neighborhood! We will be hiring him again as needed and especially when we redo our powder room.

He came out on a Saturday afternoon and tried to fix the leak but we had to find out from the HOA where the shut off's were and he came back the next Wednesday afternoon (by appointment). It took about 4 hours in all and went extremely well.

Mr. Pitman (Dale) cleaned our kitchen drain which had blockage far down the line. The clean out took more time than usual but he got it done. He kept his promise to come to our house after encountering delays at a previous job and after I had requested him to come at at later time. Courteous, professional service; we engaged his company again 12 days later to clean out our main drain. Same good service from his colleague Grey and Dale came by to make sure it was not the kitchen sink. Would recommend Pitman and will call them again, which I hope will not be anytime soon (nothing personal to Pitman Plumbing!).

It was a great surprise to find an honest plumber! I had another plumber out before him (from Angie's list by the way) and decided that the $1,100 estimate was kind of steep not to get a second opinion. Boy was I right. The first plumber said I had to tear out a wall, (repairing that was not included in their bid) order a $300 part and it would take all day. Dale fixed the problem, a washer seat was seized in the valve, and had to be broken out piece by piece without breaking the valve which took a lot of time, but he got it out, replaced the seat and stems and all for $195 ...it was refreshing not to get ripped off for once. He showed up on time did the work and was out in a couple of hours. I called him again today to do some more work in another unit of my apartment building. Great find!

This job was a major undertaking, requiring excavation and concrete repair. Not to mention that it was raining during portions of the job. Dale was a true professional. I will most certainly use him again.

The son, Danny was on time. He is relatively new at plumbing, and his work is not always as good as Dale's, the father. Did fine this time, although he still has trouble knowing how to handle -or explain- unusual situations. Always somewhat expensive, but all of their work for us has been very satisfactory.
