flooring contractor
 + -1 moreI have had a major renovation done to my home last June and the flooring product that was installed on the kitchen and adjoining family room is a distressed wood floor which was manufactured by Naturally Aged Flooring Company, 4460 Ish Dr. Simi Valley, CA 93063. The floor was installed by a reputable company and I have no complaint with them. However I do have a complaint with the Manufacturer. The product is defective and the finish is coming off in the cracks between the boards. The company sales rep visited a few days ago only to tell us that his boss, after seeing pictures of the damaged areas said it must have been caused by my dog and the warranty doesn't cover any repair costs. I have been in the customer service industry for 30 years of my working life and can recognize a scam when I see it. These people are rude and not helpful at all. If my dog damaged the flooring at all it wasn't in the cracks between the boards. The finish on this product is defective and not properly applied. After 6 months no properly installed and manufactured floor should show this kind of wear. The Company's lousy attitude and lack of service only display the integrity of the product. Please keep in mind that the installer is not to blame here.
