Overall I am very pleased with my new fence. It took a few months to get them out to walk the job and schedule, but I was told that when I called (I think Covid home improvement demand kept them busier than normal). Mark showed up as scheduled, made some good recommendations on his proposal. It was a big job and I was told it might take 1 1/2 days, but they completed the entire job in one day and left the yard spotless. The crew was hard working, polite and efficient. I will definitely use them again!

Didn't. They never called me back even after sending an email saying they'd be in touch. Ended up hiring someone recommended by a neighbor.

Recently we had Finest Fence replace two sides of our wooden fence in our backyard. The fence looks beautiful but we noticed on our slope that portions of the fence were placed high resulting in gaps at the base of the fence. My small to medium size dog managed to fit under the gap into my neighbors backyard. We called Finest Fence and explained the situation. They said that they would need to charge additional to place a base board to close the gaps. After spending $5000 for the fence, We thought charging extra to close the gaps was unfair. They would not back down and the tone was a bit rude when they said " This is what it is, if you choose to fix it fine. If not that is fine to." What ever happened to the saying " Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed"?!

I tried to contact them for an estimate to replace my front yard fence and gate, based on their good reviews. I called multiple times, left a voicemail and sent an inquiry through their website with my email and phone number. No response from them at all and it’s been about a week. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

It went well. There were no problems.

He was great. The price was competitive. They did it in 2 days. The workers were fine. They were great, very professional. They did a good job. They were very clean and very neat. They were very responsive if you had a question. There was no mess left on my side.

I called twice and left a message over 3 weeks ago needing my gate to be re-attached as the hinge broke and no one EVER called me back.

Finest Fence took a lot of time working with multiple families to come up with a workable solution. Finest Fence (FF) was not the cheapest, but choose them based on reviews. We accepted FF's proposal in totality including the suggested upgrade, except for a middle or third rail. Anything missing from the scope of our job was not due to us turning it down. While installing the new gate, the workers got spray paint on the house (pic). Awkward transition from the gate to the connecting fence. The problem was fixed, see the before and after pic. Did not connect the new fence to the old section of fence. The problem was fixed, see before picture. They removed cinder blocks that were preventing soil erosion on the slope between my house and our neighbor's house with new boards. The new boards do were unsightly and do not prevent erosion.

Mark came out and gave a bid. A true professional, he knew exactly how deep the post holes would be for this fence. He knew the exact distance between beams and splines. His crew of two very skilled workers, arrived AHEAD of schedule, They knew precisely what needed to be done, and the result was a piece of art. They took extreme pride in their work, and couldn't have been more professional. I highly recommend this company. You simply couldn't do any better. Thanks, Mark, and crew, for such a pleasant experience. If I ever need another fence, you'll be the first, and probably the only, company I call.

Unfortunately this job did not go well at all and I would never recommend Finest Fence because of the unethical and unprofessional treatment that I received from the owner, Mark Kaesberg. When Mr. Kaesberg bid this job he offered me 1/2" redwood fencing in order to accommodate my budget. I appreciated that he was trying to find a workable solution and Mr. Kaesberg assured me that he had used this material before and was satisfied with it's quality. I signed the contract at the end of November and work began the first week of December 2015. The materials were delivered and the crew foreman immediately pointed out to me that the boards were sub-standard; they had an unacceptable amount of feathering and staining. The materials were sent back to be sanded and "cleaned up," which caused a day's delay. The boards were re-delivered and work commenced. Again, the crew foreman came to me to point out that the boards that had been put up were cracking and he refused to go forward with these materials. At this time Mr. Kaesberg said that he could not deliver on the materials in our contract and demanded another $1600, but never presented me with written overage. Mr. Kaesberg told me that he has "no intention of losing money on this job" and threatened to abandon the project. Due to Mr. Kaesberg's inability to deliver on what he had contracted to do, this job went over schedule and over budget. The fences were eventually finished but not before Mr. Kaesberg threatened several more times to abandon the job and threatened to put a lien against my property (in spite of being paid every dollar that he was owed). Ultimately, Mr. Kaesberg did opt to abandon the job and not seal the fences, as per our contract.

So impressed! Mark and Melissa were always prompt with emails regarding costs, questions, etc. Mark's crew is the hardest working bunch of guys I have ever seen, bar none, as they completely replaced the wind-damaged fence at my home. And it speaks well of Mark that at least a couple of them drive considerable distances to commute to work and have been with Finest Fence for several years. (BTW, the price of our fence is considerably higher than other reviews for Finest Fence that I read. However, we got the updated board-on-board fence, along with several soil retention boards and had Finest Fence seal the fence on both sides, all of which ramped the price up some.) The work was done timely and it looks fantastic - - the neighbors still comment on how nice it looks! I heartily recommend Finest Fence!

The crew showed up on time and ready to work. They effectively worked around all obstacles on my 90 year old property. The crew was efficient, and the craftsmanship was done with care and quality, in one day. I would use them again and recommend them again. This is your first choice.

Mark, the owner of the company was wonderful and professional. He came over and gave me an estimate. Unfortunately, the attitude of the little girl on the phone was so rude I decided to take my business elsewhere. Mark, you need to hire people who understand what it means to be "professional." So sorry.

Mark's work was excellent. A friend recommended him and we're so glad he did. The gate looks like it's built to last a lifetime. Mark went over multiple options with us and explained the advantages of each. The gate went in quickly and cleanly. We get compliments on it regularly and we're very happy with the result. It's always a little worrying to spend a few thousand dollars on something. We feel like we got our money's worth and more. I would recommend Finest Fence to anyone who wants solid quality, professionally built gates.

These guys were so good and their work could not have been better. I'm looking around to find something else for them to do. Great pride of work and it shows in the end product.

It didn't. We didn't hire them. The last email contact with them was so blunt and rude, there's no way I'd want them to do work for us.

Outstanding! Very professional, on time, clean, dependable, and respectful of my property. The fence looks great, and the small section of wood fencing and gate are exceptionally well-built. They look fantastic. This is the second job Finest has done for me, and I would definitely use them again.

Have tried for weeks to contact this company and they will not respond by phone or email. I see you all around town everyday and you're to unprofessional to return calls or email! Waste of my time and I'll take my business to a professional company!

The Finest Fence guys are true craftsmen. They arrived with raw materials (i.e. steel, wood, etc.) and turned the materials into a beautiful gate. The gate exceeded my expectations. I will, however, say that painting is not their core competency. I paid extra to have the gate painted by Finest Fence, unfortunately, I had to go back and repaint the gate myself because there were patches of unpainted gate. Furthermore, when they painted the frame of the gate, overspray ended up on my block wall because they did not properly mask the wall. My recommendation is to hire these guys to build your project but then hire a dedicated painter for the finishing touches. I will definitely hire these guys again in the future for building my next project.

Finest Fence was contacted the last week in May via telephone in order to get an estimate for vinyl fencing, vinyl fence topper and the fabrication of a double swing driveway gate and a passage gate in either redwood or vinyl. Melissa returned my telephone call a few days later on 5/28. I told her what I wanted and I had a quote from a fence company from 2014 that would show them the scope of the work requested. She suggested that I email them the quote. Since this is a vacation home, they would have to contact the property management company and set up a time/date for the estimate that was agreeable to both parties. I also explained that we needed the work started when we were in town (after July 4 and completed no later than the end of July). This information was sent to them on the same day along with some changes to the quote. I received an email from Melissa on 6/2 explaining that she had been out of the office and had not spoken to the owner, but would do so and contact the property management company and "schedule an estimate if it is something Mark can do." On June 9 I emailed Melissa advising her it has been two weeks since our initial conversation and I hadn't heard back from her about setting up an appointment for an estimate and if they were contracted can they meet our deadlines. I received a response from her that same day stating that "Mark wanted to speak with me directly but has been working out in the field until late evening and has not yet had a chance to call. She went on to say that she will leave him a reminder and he would get back to me. That was ten days ago and three weeks from initial contact. Very disappointing.

Mark (owner) was very responsive to the initial quote request. He arrived on the date and at the time agreed and walked the property with me and provided valuable feedback on design, height and proposed construction materials. When I needed to make an adjustment to the design, he returned as scheduled and we worked through the details. Construction started as agreed and his crew was really excellent. Very professional. The foreman, Chava, did a great job of managing the schedule according to agreed start times and the guys did a very thorough job of keeping the job site clean throughout the day. The four iron-framed gates were custom-built on site. When questions arose, Chava and the crew waited to discuss most things with me before pressing on. The job took a total of 3.5 days. On the final day, I was unable to be home and when I came home I noticed an area that I was not satisfied with. I contacted Mark and he came the next day to check it out. We agreed on a minor remediation which Mark addressed immediately the next day to my complete satisfaction. The fence looks great, and the neighbors love it. Mark and Chava both have an artistic eye and it really does look like a work of art.

Really enjoyable experience.. very knowledgeable and lots of choices, and the work was done promptly and within the budget set. would definitely use them again.
