I contacted Finest Fence two different times, once in early 2013 and again late that same year. (We are still in the midst of a big landscaping project so it hasn't been important until now.) Both times Mark came out, he was punctual and very helpful with his suggestions. We discussed the style of fence I wanted and the pros and cons of various materials. He showed me his "portfolio" (book of pictures of work previously done) which was a good way for us to make sure we were on the same page. Mark gave me recommendations and but was not heavy-handed about it. He even gave me directions to a house he had done that has the same type of fence I want. However, no one ever called me with an estimate -- even after I called to remind them after each visit that I was waiting for one. It's a real shame, because based on Finest Fence's high ratings on Angie's List and my interaction with Mark, I was prepared to hire them as long as the estimate was within reason.

Finest Fence installed two beautiful side gates that provide access to my backyard. They also installed a patio cover, half of which has a solid roof and the other half has an open lattice. Mark Kaesberg arrived at our house promptly to provide an estimate and to discuss what we wanted. He was very professional and polite. He was helpful with design suggestions and came prepared with a book of his previous work and designs that he could provide. After we decided to go with Finest Fence for the work we wanted done, we gave Mark a deposit to secure the price of the materials. He was very flexible working with us for an installation date. I was about to have a baby so we were able to schedule it about a month and a half away to be sure that the installation happened after the baby was already there and I would be home. His workers were very professional and quick. They did a fantastic job with the installation. I spent a lot of time watching them work while rocking the baby inside and I could tell they were meticulous about measurements and quality. They even had a magnet to make sure that no nails were left behind in my grass. We love our gates and patio cover!

I had a power line fall and ignite my redwood fence. I telephoned Finest Fence (Nancy) while the fire fighters were still here, she was able to schedule for Mark to come the next day to assess/address my concerns. Mark scheduled for the fence repair the following day!! I cannot say/write enough positive words to express my appreciation for their professionalism, punctuality, pricing and workmanship. I have used them before (and submitted a review) and will not hesitate to call them in the future.

The work was performed very well. The crew was punctual and the new fences look great. The only reason I couldn't give them an "A" on every aspect was that they were not at all good about cleaning-up after they were through. They apparently had no intention of cleaning anything up. The crew removed the old fences they had torn down, but left behind large heaps of debris (plant materials, mostly). I called them back and they removed about half of the mess, but left behind much plant cuttings, branches, food packaging & wrappers, condiment cups., etc., and also many screws and sharp pieces of metal trimmings, etc., even right in the driveway where I would return cars I had vacated for their convenience.

This is the second time I have used Finest Fence. The outstanding quality of the work remained consistent with the previous job, performed with expertise, efficiency, and a sense of service. Mark is trustworthy and generous with information. He knows his trade and made appropriate suggestions that greatly improved the look of my entrance gate and of the shape of my fence. His crew paid attention to details, like building the fence around tree branches, instead of cutting them. I also greatly appreciated extra things like switching a latch and adding a new one on top of an existing wobbling door. The quality of the material and hardware used is consistently superior. Finest Fence is a reliable company. I am happy to repeat business with them as the need arises.

I met with several contractors and was the most impressed with Mark. I felt their work was top notch, and the workmen very efficient. I was very happy with the quality of the work and what it cost. I would use them again and recommend them to friends. I still enjoy looking at the beautiful redwood in my back yard each day. It was well worth the money to improve my property and replace the old fence that had literally fallen down.

Our old fence was lifted by tree roots and completely disintegrating. Finest Fence removed the old fence, hauled it away, built a new fence and sealed the wood. We originally only wanted to replace the one side where the damage had been done but we were so happy with the work they did, we called them back to do more. Mark and his crew are extremely professional. Chava and his crew really know what they are doing. We received lower bids but are so very happy we used Finest Fence. If you are ever driving along Box Canyon - check it out - you can't miss it it's that nice looking!

Finest Fence is an outstanding company, they went above and beyond! We experienced several issues with our city planning department in order to install a standard height fence on our property. We found out that we live in the only city in Los Angeles County that requires a permit to install a standard height fence. We found out about the required city permit requirement after our existing fences and gates were removed and a city inspector appeared and placed our project on hold. Additionally, we then found out that our city required a Certified Surveyor to survey and document our mutual property line, at our expense, as no documentation existed on city records prior to permit approval. The city requirements incurred an additional $1,400.00 for permits and survey and one week delay. Finest Fence responded immediately to our dilemma and provided us and our neighbors with immediate temporary fencing until we were able to resolve the permit and survey issues with the city. Finest Fence was absolutely outstanding throughout the entire project. Finest Fence provided us with the highest quality material, experienced professional workmanship and completed the demolition and installation (two days total) in a very efficient and expeditious manner.

I felt that was very rude ,but it was obvious this company is not interested in my business. I was very dissappointed.

Finest Fence did an impressively nice work in replacing our old and much worn fence in the backyard. We were just in the search for a vendor, when Finest Fence caught our eyes as a featured vendor on the March issue of the Angie?s List booklet. The good reviews on Angie?s List and the information listed on the company?s website gave us an impression that they knew their stuff well. When Mark visited us to give an estimate, that impression was reinforced. On the installation day, his crew came on time and did an excellent job. I would particularly give kudos to Oscar the installer, for his professionalism and being accommodating. We had a last minute change of work order due to an unexpected situation. Oscar showed great patience and understanding, even though that means he had to wait for us to make the right decision and then took another trip to their shop to pick up additional materials. The finished new fence is very satisfying. They use high quality redwood, which is durable and low maintenance, and had a nice appeal to the eyes. I cannot really comment on the pricing, since Finest Fence was the only company I contacted for a quote. But we felt comfortable moving forward with them (which is kind of rare for me). I?m pleased that our experience has proved our money was well spent. I?d highly recommend Finest Fence to friends and families, and would use them again if needed in the future.

We are very happy with the outcome and the professionalism. The workers cleaned up after themselves and it was as if they weren't there... Except they left a beautiful gate behind. Very Pleased!!!

Install team did not notice absence of rods until I pointed it out. Fortunately replacements were found in time. Upon completion, I found gaps at practically all panel/post vertical joins and visible spaces where top rails joined the posts, seemingly caused by mis-measurement. The team did immediately begin to glue/epoxy these spaces and Mark sent one of them for 2 hours next morning to finish this and check it all out to my satisfaction. (Several years ago another company installed 90 ft. of vinyl fencing and there were no similar, visible gaps.) The teamwork was extremely efficient, hard-working, pleasant and they did their best. After job was completed management did not call to enquire about our satisfaction.

The job was done perfectly. The workers showed upon time and finished in a timely manner. The fence looks fantastic! I was very appreciative of how professional and helpful this company was. They cleaned up my yard and left it in great condition.

The Finest Fence crew came to our house on their scheduled date. They built custom Redwood Gates in a matter of hours. They did come by previously to talk to us about options and to measure existing wall space. These gates are beautiful. I have already had neighbors come by to ask about them.

Mark was professional and prompt. Prior to placing the order we including our neighbors had many questions. He patiently answered every single one of them via many phone calls and emails. He even made a 2nd visit to go over some details. On the day of the installation, he called to confirm. Shortly after, his foreman showed up and after we reviewed and initialed the contract he started the work. His initial estimate was to complete the work in a day and a half, his crew finished it within a day. Throughout the day, more of his crew showed up to complete the work. Mark is very knowledgeable and provided expert advice about our options for a fence. I strongly recommend him.

Mark was very professional in providing a competitive bid and coordinating the installation. They did the work in one day with excellent results.

From the initial estimate to the completion of the project, things were completed professionally and thoroughly. The customer service was outstanding. The initial estimate by the owner Mark Kaesberg was thorough and very informative. Mark gave suggestions for our project that we hadn't previously considered. Suggestions which we went with for our project. The employees sent to do the job were extremely efficient, professional, courteous and kept us updated throughout the installation. When completed, "clean up" was done with no mess left behind. Our completed project was done better than we expected. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his company to anyone needing his services.

Mark and his team were extraordinarily professional, courteous, and above all else, they took pride in their work. They were punctual and efficient and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Fences can be expensive--and mine was a lot of work so it was justifiably on the pricey side--but I feel like I got every penny's worth from the job. My entire backyard has been transformed. Highly, highly recommend Finest Fence Inc.

I called on Monday 9/23/2013 to get a estimate at one of our locations for a broken chain link fence that needed to be replaced. The receptionist told me it would be best to e-mail the details and pictures to expedite the service. I even kindly sent Finest Fence another vendor quote to see if they could match their competitors price or go lower. I called back today, 9/26/2013, to see the status of the estimate since I did not hear receive an e-mail nor a phone call back. The receptionist told me that the e-mails been deleted after being viewed and our request has been thrown in the trash. My experience with Finest Fence was anything but fine. Avoid at all costs.

Mark , the owner, came to my house to give me an estimate on my original request at the date and time we agreed. I compared his quote and services with 4 other providers, he came out with flying colors: His pricing was fair - an honest work for an honest dollar. He approached the job with my best interest in mind, did not push for extra work or unnecessary material. For example, where others tried to sell me black coated chain link fence for the lower part of the property, he told me it was not necessary at this particularly place, saving me a substantial amount of money. He was also accommodating in using whatever material I had and gave me credit for it. His professional advice was valuable and also saved me money, particularly as an issue with county requirements came up; he was willing, available, and able to talk to the county workers/supervisors; he also talked me out of putting an unnecessary walk-in gate and suggested protective posts on the main gate instead. He was also generous with information, which allowed to make educated choices. Lastly, he provided high quality material and craftsmanship, delivered his services with competence, reliability, and punctuality, relieving me of trying to figure out what I needed - other potential providers were willing to do what I requested, even if it did not make sense, or was not the best idea. I felt well taken care of by Finest Fence. Mark is low key, personable, professional, and so is his entire crew, including his office people. There was no gap between Mark, his people, and his work. I sensed from other potential providers that the person giving me the estimate was more knowledgeable about the marketing end than the execution itself. It has been a pleasure doing business with Finest Fence, I was happy to give this company money and have included it in my list of reliable providers.

They installed fencing in two parts of our property in order to keep deer out of our garden. Mark was great - professional, personable, even gave some recos on what NOT to do even if we didn't go with his company, as well as suggesting a less expensive route initially and later some add ons in case the deer were still able to get over the fence. The workmen showed up on time and did a great job within the time and budget. Great company.

From start to finish, our experience with Finest Fence was first-rate. My husband contacted them to arrange for an on-site quote. Mark came at the agreed upon date and time, and provided a quote the next day. He actually came in lower than we anticipated. We decided to go with Finest Fence because Mark knows his stuff, and we felt confident we'd receive a quality installation. His crew of two men, led by Santos, arrived on time, and quickly and professionally installed our wooden fence extensions. Santos was courteous and answered all our questions. It took them one day and they left our yard very clean and tidy. We are so pleased with our new fence and the excellent job performed by Finest Fence. We will definitely use them again for any future fencing needs.
